He was injured couple of times but also never really used, He was abit of a pointless buy for us, He is average but as he didnt play allot for us its hard to judge him

Yea, just a bit :p

IIRC he picked up an injury in each of his first 4 games he played for either the first team or reserves :p

Maybe Im missing something but surely Mancini already has 4 years of CL experience that SAF has only got from being at Man Utd , not only that but its pretty fair to say that in SAf's first few years (like most of the EPL teams) there was a much more evident 1st XI team, and then the rest of each squad was a lot less experienced. imo its a lot less clear cut these days with the top four or five ( with Arsenal being the exception thats been the case for years) having really only 1 top choice gk but other positions being reasonably replacable without too much effect on the team.

(Yes I know SAF had success with Aberdeen, but I dont think that can be compared to even a season of CL experience)

Spurs never had that kind of squad - yes they have a decent 1st XI (with some world stars in amongst them) but out of the top XI a number of the other squad members are a bit iffy (and thats because they have never had the money / repeated success that the clubs around them have)

The difference between mancini rotating vs utd of 99 is that city have a far better squad of talent than we had. They don't have jordi cruyf or jesper blomqvist waiting in the wings, or nicky butt/jon greening waiting to come on and funk things up a bit.

City just have do many great players it makes it much easier to rotate without having to play useless players like we did..
 
I'm of course hoping for a win, but problem with supporting Wednesday is we aren't that good.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the new signings mind you, we now have the Leagues top scorer :cool:
