He's looking good.

Quick, strong, bit of technical ability, drives forward. Needs to work on his crossing and his decision making, runs at people and past people quite well.

He's got a good work rate, works hard for the team and tracks back and presses space quite well.

He's better then what we've got but a long way away form being near a Premier League player, still got a lot to learn.

I think you have to take into conisderation his age and the fact he has just recoverd from a very serious leg breake.

Sounds good already but there is more to come from him :D
 
Oh I'm not knocking him, just saying he has a long way to go before he's Premier League standard (if he ever gets that good)

His passing isn't good or bad either, it's just very average, he does try quick one two's but it's dependant on whom he passes to if he gets it back or not.

He scored a really good goal t'other week cutting in from the wing :)

I heard a rumour that QPR were after him but I don't think there's any chance whatsoever of that happening, I bet the quality of life where he is now is so much better, all his kids are settled and his wife likes it there too. Not a chance he'd go to London where it ****** it down for 350 days of the year to play for some relegation candidates. :p

Seeing him retire at Man United would be pretty cool though. Give him a few last 20 or so minutes on the pitch for a few games or something.
 
Stories doing the rounds that we were 'offered' Rodwell for £15m so hard up for cash are Everton. Other rumours doing the rounds are that we'll be in for Barkley in January (that one didn't take long)

Fergie also confirming the worst kept secret in an interview in Italy that we did try to sign Sneijder but he's not comparable with Scholes - only Xavi and Iniesta are worthy of that comparison according to SAF :cool:

Real wanted me to go to Benfica or Porto, teams like that, because they were prepared to pay a lot of money, but I did not want to go. When my agent told me I could sign for Everton I was like 'Thank you God'.

I don't like drinking vodka and coke because if I drink coke the next day or so I can taste vodka even if it's not there and coke is my hangover drink of choice. Vodka and Lemonade / Red Bull all the way.
