*** The 2010 Gym Rats Thread ***

Managed to persuade 3 of my housemates to join the gym so i have some company :D Funny how they are all a fair bit bigger than me but i lift almost 2x more on some things, they were all suprised! My lifts are still improving i just need to get putting on some mass somehow.
 
Yeah, my abs are out quite decently despite being around 15-16% - not bothered about abs, my core is more important to me. Abs are for bodybuilders and teenagers to woo little girls. I'm after women who like real big chunky men! ;) :D :p

****OOPS yeah!!!!!!! I'm with ya on that, the build i desire is just being big, not necessarily aesthetic to please shallow british women

Although being aesthetic must have its perks!!

Trust me i have been, and im sure thats why my lifts are going up im just not putting on mass :p Dont want to overdo it though and end up putting on too much fat (im after the aesthetic build rather than being just big, go on, hate me! :D)

I read all of them Tommy :) Frequent lurker of the misc ive gotta say some of the stuff there is class.

Anyway ill give it another few weeks now im back in a routine and see what happens

We've some incredibly disproportioned people in my gym though a fair few people to do train legs. Some properly and others I haven't a clue what they're trying to do but at least they're trying which is more than some!

My bench with leg curl/ext is arriving tomorrow :) Have to make use of some nasty supersets :D and also try some lying leg extensions with a massive stretch through the entire quad/hip especially rec fem :cool:
 
In saying that I like his idea. He shredded right down. Alough he's been known to use "supplements".

Im thinking of just shredding right down to as low a percent of body fat as possible whilst retaining as much muscle as I can. More just out of boredom then anything else, getting bored of the same thing over and over lift lift lift, thinking of adding in boxing again and some mma.

It's easy enough for me to get bigger and bigger, easy for me to shred fat and water. But I've never shredded down right enough, freaky shredded something like veins up the abs and xmas tree on lower back showing. I need a challenge lol, any ideas? lol.

Although 90% of it is completely unrelated to bodybuilding on the misc, some of the content, i agree i absolutely hilarious

Zyzz, he looks absolutely great, would love to have his physique, but hell no would i ever wear guyliner
