But yes, I'm going for the SSD over the HDD personally, even though the HDD version is 15x the capacity.

Oh crap...
The place I preordered has gone from the 25th July to this now
I preordered at £199, so it's £40 more if I pick it up in store somewhere.

I think you will see a few delays, as Acer told me the purple shirt store has the exclusive release in the UK.
That's really annoying.
Their nearest store is 40-50 minutes away from here, and I was there yesterday :-/

I drove 40 mins to get mine as local store had none.
You just reserve online then get it after an hour, but its never there ready so they have to go and get it.

Very shiny, the top looks nice, but the bezel makes it look a bit cheap & tacky. Maybe it looks better in the flesh.

First impressions, its very good, far more usable than I expected.
Keyboard is a good size and easy to type. I have had some issues installing some apps (just doing the recovery cd thing )
Running the standard Linux OS, I deffo recomend one.
Boot speed is very good, I video'd the first turn on, so will post that later.
