So many different sources giving different dates, one even says the 12/7/2008, would be interesting to see how much OCUK will be selling for and when they will offer them at all.

I'd love it it that date is correct, it'll mean I'll have mine on Monday/Tuesday of next week.

I doubt that very much somehow.
 
well seen this for sale from tomorrow on a purple pc shop on-line for about £230

but also just seen ram and hard drive fixed to the mobo :(

I dont see this as a big problem, as it also says you have the dedicated SD HC Slot for extra storage, and an additional memory slot for more memory.

So ok you cant upgrade the existing stuff easily, but it is certainly expandable.
 
FYI - This is now available to buy online, however they have now put up the price on release day to £249.99, its still not available in the shop so not worth the extra ££ just to get it now.

I wish these would finally get (properly) released in this country.

I'm still waiting for an answer from most etailers for a definate, 100% answer as to when they're getting stock in.

Nobody seems to be sure, I've heard some sites have had them in stock this weekend but I'm not really convinced :o
 
As previously posted, you can get one this week for £249.99 if you want to, plus delivery.
Delivery is about 5 days so you could have one by the end of the week for a premium.

There seems a little confusions on this one. I think its a certainty the SSD ones do, but different reports say the HD version has the 6 cell and others the 3 cell.

Time will tell, but it wont stop me buying the SD Version. I am still trying to decide if I should pay over the odds to get one this week and from a physical shop, or save a few quid and get it at an online seller.

Whilst it's tempting to know I could have one in my hands very soon, I'd rather wait and save £30-£50 or so.

If I hadn't been lucky and got it preordered for £199, I might be thinking otherwise... but honestly, I think the price is part of the attractiveness to the One.
 
There in stock at the big computer store for £249 (Blue Linux 8G SSD), Just reserved one and going to collect after work tomorrow :D

I Know i'm paying a £20 premium but i want it for my Hols on the 25th July so it's worth it to me. Now to track down some Ram and a big SD card :)
 
I'm quite tempted by one of these. Are people going for the SD card over the HDD? 120GB HDD is only £10 more than an 8GB card.

How do they get into the shops now, but most of the online places I've seen are now saying August? :confused:
