A very good deal I would say....I have the 120gb with 1gb Ram. I must say I was dissapointed to find out you have to take the thing apart to upgrade the Ram I was about to order some....but I think I will leave it now.

I am really pleased with mine, I am sure you will be as well.

Seen that exact model for £209.99 delivered.
now that is a really good price, I got mine from a supermarket for £249. Although I am glad I did in the end as the first one I got, was back to the store withing half an hour as it was faulty.

cheap is good but sometimes paying a little more is worth it, being able to go back to the store in person.

just ordered one of these Lg dvd drives:

I shouldnt have any trouble running this should I ? it is powered of the BUS ? the olny white drive I could find as well :D I do like things to match!

Regards

I know how you feel Linux is completely un-user friendly. You have to be master programmer to get stuff to work. I just got fed up of it because it sucks and put Windows on mine.
Linux is no more user un-friendly than Windows. You don't have to be a programmer at all in order to get applications to work. Personally I don't think that Linux sucks. Ever thought that you might actually be the problem?

Wow, is that is extreme!

Acer is newer then the original EEE, so new batteries should start getting cheaper soon.

When I was looking to install something on Limpus Lite I was readying online all these lines of code I needed to type. What's that all about?

So whats the general consensus with netbooks then, is the ONE better than an advent 4211? They seem very similar priced and spec, I just cant decide between which one really! Was looking at putting OSX on either if anyone has any help with that on either!

I really am pleased with my Aspire one but I would look at the advent to see if the ram is more upgradeable without taking the thing apart which I really dont like. I may be wrong on this a but also I think the HHD on the aspire cant be replaced as it is fixed on the mobo.

so if the advent had replacable HDD and ram upgradeable without taking the thing apart I would go for that.
