********** The all new "Official" iPhone 4S thread - Keep all the iPhone 4S stuff in here **********

Ok so went back into Carphone Warehouse today. Showed them the buzz in the earpiece when making calls, at first the staff member couldn't hear it so he went in the office upstairs and he said it was very obvious.

I got a new device and the screen on it looks 100% better than the last one, it had a very yellowish tint to it. I have noticed the vibration on this device is a lot more 'buzzy' though, but oh well.

This unit was from a batch that arrived to them today so I'm hoping it's all going to be good from now on.

Cheers

*awaits for a post saying, "the vibration was annoying me so I returned it and got another one, but now this one has wobbly volume buttons, oh well, it will do* :D :p

Well this is a new record, 7h43m standby without the battery dropping from 100%!?

I think it's safe to say apples battery percentages are off and not 100% accurate, that's what i've found anyways.

Also, the only thing contributing to pathetic life is poor signal. I get 1-2 bars at work and battery drains silly fast so i have to toggle 2g on, at home area get 4-5 bars and doesn't drain half as much.

i think u can't be accurate as the battery life is affected by many things and its only a reflection of what the current battery status is at that moment

Am I mad to get a 4s now? My sensation has finally made me fed up. I have four days left, and 400 out of my 600 minutes left due to having absolutely no to very little signal everywhere I go :(

It will be called the 'new iPhone'.

For the last time, the latest iPad isn't called the "new iPad" at all, it's just the "iPad" and it's the third generation of it. They just referred to it as the "new iPad" in marketing around the launch to emphasis it was the new model, that's not part of its name :p

Hi guys,

A friends mum has just got herself an iPhone and she is coming from a very old Nokia. Now i have setup iPhone's etc all fine before as i have just used Google Sync etc for contacts but i am stumped as to how i can get contacts from her old Nokia to new iPhone?

Will i need to cut the sim? to stick it inside or buy an adaptor etc?

Thanks

I'm tempted to get a 4S tomorrow. My contract is nearly up and I might just join the sheep!

Cant be bothered to wait for the 5, the contracts are always sucky at release anyway!
