********** The all new "Official" iPhone 4S thread - Keep all the iPhone 4S stuff in here **********

I've already created this thread 2 times, why do you feel the need to be the creator???

anyways, i wont be upgrading. Its not a big enough bump in terms of technology from the Iphone4. Yes its got more RAM and more CPU but the apps that are out dont need nowhere need that speed yet, so its a waste of an upgrade for a Iphone4 user (Just wait till the 4 v 4s speed comparison videos on youtube)

The only pros are the 8MP camera over the 5, however the 5 still looks amazing today

And with the Iphone4 getting iOS5 will generally make lots of things better too

This, not a far enough upgrade my iphone 4 was a good buy, still does its job brilll

Anyone noticed the standby time differences?

iPhone 4: 300hrs
iPhone 4s: 200hrs

Only thing putting me off :/

Most of mine is in Apple Lossless, my main library is nearly 120Gb but I ticked the 'convert to 128k' box and that 120Gb compresses down to around 30Gb on my iPad. Much as I like lossless on my computer I don't feel that having 128k files on my iDevice is a problem.

This is what I do.

I'm a big audiophile, but having lossless on a phone is overkill unless you have a system to plug it in to, in which case.. why not stream? :p

I tend to listen to more podcasts than my actual music these days.

In real world use I'd wager it'll appear no different given a typical days browsing/texting/calling/watching/listening/playing. The 3G talk time is improved over the 4, for instance, so it'll probably end up needing to be charged with the same frequency.

I suppose (very) recent events explain why the Apple conference felt very slow and subdued. The guys must have known.

RIP Steve Jobs. :(

If you delete gamecenter games it pops up a box saying that all your gamecenter info for that game (high scores, achievements) will be lost, and asks if you want to continue. If you say no it just doesn't delete the game IIRC.

Just to follow up on this. It does in fact give the option to keep gamecenter info while still deleting the app, however it only seems to be leaderboards and achievements, not saved progress.

And RIP Steve Jobs.

This picture is even more sad now - his seat :(
