£499 for 16GB, £599 for 32GB, £699 for 64GB?

Thoughts?

I will be upgrading to a 4s, had the 4 for over a year now and the contract we have means I can change. Its the longest I have had a phone for and still been more than happy with, arguably I shouldn't change but the 4s will be a nice upgrade and keep me happy till the 5.

I have never been interested in Apple products until I played with the IP4, not really payed that much attention to the IP5 speculation so this looks like a nice improvement to the phone to me.

Not sure if I will go with a white or black version though :)

Why does look have anything to do with it, it's a rectangle with a screen.

As I said phone hardware is more than fast enough these days, not to upgrade every 12months. Also as said everything which people wanted in the ip5 is in the ip4s. Apart from a larger screen that's the only difference.

Hmmm, because i would get bored of the way the phone looked and would want something fresh...

There doesn't seem to be much point upgrading from an iPhone 4 to a 4S.

Some good new features but the 4 doesn't feel slow and the camera is still pretty good IMO so don't fancy paying the extra just for Siri.

I'll more than likely keep the 4 until June next year and see what they have to offer then.

Anyone know if the 4S has cured the death grip issues?

I assume it has, but if it hasn't I might just get a 16Gb 4.

Just because I want to try an iPhone after having Android for two years.

Dear lord they're expensive! £499 for the 32GB would be more reasonable.

Quite disappointed by this to be honest, was hoping it would be something special (not really sure what I was expecting though) and tempt me away from getting the NexusP, but it hasn't :(

Im probably gonna get the 4S, Im not been tied to a contract for a couple of years and to make good use of that additional flexibility (which for an iPhone works out to be as expensive as contract). Im more interested in the camera, but do believe Siri might be a useful feature to me (use the existing voice control a bit and know how bad it is).

Will the iP4 get improved voice control (not Siri, but the improvements to the basic existing functions)?

ps3ud0

That's insane, you really get board of how something looks. Do you change anything else every 12months just for aesthetics? Phone companies must love people like that .
Although I do agree pr disaster calling it ip4s and keeping looks the same.

I am not sure how the 4S will be a "nice" upgrade from the 4 in the way you went from another non apple phone to the IP4.

A bit quicker and better camera isn't going to change your day to day experience on it.

I just realised that it is almost beneficial to take a contract out now if you want a 3GS for some reason, at £319 sim free, and only £15pm and a free handset from Orange, you'd be daft to buy it outright.
