If it helps, I just played a bit with a single 290 @1100/1250 with Mantle @ultra/4xAA/100% on Shanghai (64) and I'd say it averaged ~85-100fps with peaks of ~155 and the lowest min I saw with an exploding tank was 71.

Did a round earlier on TDM whilst i was trying out a small gpu overclock. Average 205fps.

Not sure what my minimums were exactly when i tested, but i don't think i saw it dip below 120-140fps despite what the results above say. Not sure how it works tbh. :p

THe % of frames below 90fps is very low might of been a very small window i guess like a explosion or something , sort of thing if you didnt have that particular program running the user wouldn't of even seen?

99% of frames are above 144 overall which to me sounds great really ( admitting i know nothing and take no responsibilty ) :D
 
290 or 780 seems to be the sweet spot at 1900x1080 in this if you want to max it. Probably need xfire/sli of theese for the likes of 1440p or 120Hz on. Tbf even my old 670 sli setup ran it without any bother.
 
A 290x clocked to 1200 with mantle would probably get you your 100fps over 90% of the time. In my quest for 120 solid on my 290 at 1100/1300 I found lowering settings didn't really make a huge amount of difference (except for AA). Thing is FULL ultra at 1080 should include a bit of resolution scaling. 125 or more makes it all look soooo smooth.
 
I did a fraps last night on bf4 ultra and using windows 8 really helps,

Was something along the lines of min 59, ave 82, max 150 odd.

seems better somehow on windows 8.
