***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

doesnt matter if you have its if others have they know there is a stuttering issue and sorry to blow your bubbles but people with titans and i7s still get the stuttering :D its even on batleog of people reporting.

this site should be called hyperbole.com :p

I get stutter. But it isn't showing up as micro stutter or on the graphs. It seems like packet loss even at very low pings. It's only very occasionally though and doesn't really affect gameplay :).

Frame rate rarely ever drops below 60fps either except when the server is fully loaded with loads going on on screen. May install Windows 8 if I can be bothered this week. Honestly though I'm just enjoying the game at this stage. It is after all a beta, and it won't be perfect yet.

Maybe you should upgrade to an, errm... Wait.

Any 2gb card. :p

Lol ^ ...

At 2.3GB at 1080 people might be happy with how the game performs for them but there is no denying you won't be getting the best out of it on 2GB cards. That extra memory the game is using given the chance is going somewhere...:D

I'd say they're few and far between.

Lol ^ ...

Before i really had any clue about pc's and before i ended up getting 2x2900xt's in crossfire, (i know :D) i once considered a dual, tri and possibly quad 2600XT setup. Man i look back and laugh now but i can only imagine the pain that would have caused. :D

Yes a 7850, 1440p crossfire setup id say is extremely rare. That said im sure ive seen one or two people mention they have it on these forums. But what are the chances of them reading this thread and or seeing this post or the ones before it?

Slim to none id say.

I'd love to know since I already have one and it doesn't perform too badly. Adding a second might be a very cheap way for me to be able to increase the quality settings.

A well clocked 7850 crossfire setup is about 5%-10% faster than a well clocked 7970. I'd probably suggest selling your 7850 and grabbing yourself 2x7950's and enjoy spanking a 780/titan for just over £300 green queens. (assuming you sell the games)

I'm pretty sure that's what I'll end up doing :) Just waiting to see what AMD and NVIDIA release this month.

I think all the i5 talk is a red herring anyway. I can't see how the new engine would strain them so much over the previous one. Tenner says come release there will be barely anything between i7 setups.

I wouldn't go that far. Then again i do agree with your quote in principle. Thing is i know how much an i5 holds back 2x7950's at stock in bf3 so its not going to get any better than that with bf4, only worse.

Nvidia won't be releasing anything this month...or possibly this year lol.

I guess it depends how well it's clocked, I wouldn't want to own one though lol.
