just making sure you see it !
its not just i5s its all cpus and the stuttering effects all cpus.
That is broad. My 3930K at 4.625 with a Titan has never dropped below 60fps even in massive fire fights. Titan at 1136mhz + 400 mem.
I get stutter. But it isn't showing up as micro stutter or on the graphs. It seems like packet loss even at very low pings. It's only very occasionally though and doesn't really affect gameplay.

Frame rate rarely ever drops below 60fps either except when the server is fully loaded with loads going on on screen. May install Windows 8 if I can be bothered this week. Honestly though I'm just enjoying the game at this stage. It is after all a beta, and it won't be perfect yet.
Maybe you should upgrade to an, errm... Wait.
Is anyone running 2 x HD7850s for 1440p? I couldn't see anything in this thread, but it would be nice to know how it runs![]()
I'd say they're few and far between.

Lol ^ ...
I'd love to know since I already have one and it doesn't perform too badly. Adding a second might be a very cheap way for me to be able to increase the quality settings.
A well clocked 7850 crossfire setup is about 5%-10% faster than a well clocked 7970. I'd probably suggest selling your 7850 and grabbing yourself 2x7950's and enjoy spanking a 780/titan for just over £300 green queens. (assuming you sell the games)
I think all the i5 talk is a red herring anyway. I can't see how the new engine would strain them so much over the previous one. Tenner says come release there will be barely anything between i7 setups.
I'm pretty sure that's what I'll end up doingJust waiting to see what AMD and NVIDIA release this month.
I wouldn't go that far. Then again i do agree with your quote in principle. Thing is i know how much an i5 holds back 2x7950's at stock in bf3 so its not going to get any better than that with bf4, only worse.
Nvidia won't be releasing anything this month...or possibly this year lol.
