Okay this was on an empty server as i just wanted to see how it ran lol but im getting 40-60 fps at medium/high on 1080p and 20-30fps on ultra with one overclocked 5870.
I honestly thought with all the performance problems people have been getting it would be lower than that so im happily surprised.

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
3807, 60000, 52, 80, 63.450
63 fps avg will do me on ultra hardly falling to pieces
i suggest you sought out your drivers or maybe upgrade to win 8

Mine has to look smart with nothing on the desktop. Since I've got my DGM 27" 1440p IPS i like bright vibrant colours. Never could appreciate them with my crappy TN monitor before that. I hate those gadget things you have on yours as well.
Different strokes for different folks though.

Minimums of 52 with a 3570k 7950 ultra 64 players just doesn't seem realistic to me sorry.
Everything i use frequently is one click away and my desktop is nice and clear. That's how the pro's do it Locky.

I have an LG IPS, 23", 1080P, i just don't like pastel colours, not for an OS, i much prefer the chromium in Win 7.

Yeah i hear you, I used to be like that. Having nothing on the taskbar, desktop and removing all startup stuff. Even things like Adobe and Java i would disable on startup. With Sata 6 SSD's and the arrival of Sandybridge and Samsung DDR3 2133mhz and such i don't need to worry about that any more.

what that silly tiles thing? It DOES NOT make it easy to open things
open a picture or a video and it goes into an entirely different part of the OS which takes to long to load up, and then when your done its a 2 hour round trip to get back to where you started. its bloody horrid....
Just done a run maxed but with 2xMSAA.. i left post AA on high.. maybe i need to switch that off

Feels smooth until the building comes down then all the smoke and crap gives my system a slight hit and maybe thats where the low of 33 came about

You can configure it and take the stuff and associations out.
I Didn't like it at first, but now I have it configured the way I like the os makes sense.
