Looks like there is a steady release of stock daily on the reserve page. I have a 256gb Gold Plus one, but would prefer a black one. Seem to see a lot of Gold / Pink being released, I only seem to see black in 32gb and not in 128/256.

Would prefer black, will wait and see. Last year they allowed me change the SKU in store on the day

Sorry where's the reserve page. Rather reserve and get sooner than wait for delivery in mid October.

It is here https://reserve.cdn-apple.com/GB/en...23A28D317FA3E560&rv=0&path=&iPP=E&appleCare=Y it is for the "Upgrade programme".

Stock seems to come up throughout the day. For the +, black/silver only seems to come in 32gb, and 128gb/256gb seems to come available often enough in gold/pink.

I have a 128gb and 256gb gold now on reservation for 10:30am pickup on Friday, though will try to get a black/silver one before. I spoke to the store earlier and they said if they have a spare other colour they will swap it for me (I did this last year as well, on the release day there was plenty available anyway I noticed).

This is really interesting - Ofcom have a tool to predict UK network coverage for the big 4... The results don't always stack up with what the networks themselves say surprisingly enough!

Based on this, and despite my reservations, I've gone with Voda

Pffft - just had a look at that map and, unless Vodafone have spent some serious money in our area in the two years since I left, the result shown is woefully short of reality. 3G in ours and surrounding villages was non-existent on Vodafone - if you wanted any kind of access, you had to drive into Cambridge. Never been a problem on 3 ...

My issue with Vodafone is capacity, yes they have a signal most places but sitting on a train in London showing 4G and getting absolutely nothing was the last straw for me. I'd rather it showed no signal at all than a saturated cell tower.

Even though I ordered first thing in the morning of the pre-order still getting a delivery estimate of 3 Oct - 7 Oct.

Anyone else who ordered the 7+ in matt black getting the same?

I suppose getting the standard 7 in 128gb Matte Black was a much easier venture as I'm collecting in store on the 16th and I ordered around 9:00am

Some how i have managed to get myself in the situation where i have a 32gb matt black and a 128gb gold both being delivered on Friday.

I ordered the 32gb black with no problems on Friday and then changed my mind today and ordered the 128gb Gold. I couldn't cancel the matt black one so i have to take it back to the Apple store or refuse delivery.

My Silicone case for my 7 dispatched and they took payment for my watch so everything seems to be progressing smoothly.

Yeah I got despatch notification for my case earlier this evening. Collecting the phone from store but it wouldn't let me do the same for the case and I didn't want to risk them being sold out at the store on Friday.

I just had a bit of a flap - I had a call from my bank's fraud line questioning my Apple transaction. I confirmed it was genuine and then had to go back into my account and get them to resubmit the payment request. It's all gone through now.

Are you sure what you got? As soon as I get a chance to sit down with some time I'll give them a ring.

I can only see the 40GB tarrif listed as £70.99 a month and £129.99 upfront
And the 25GB £65.99 and £149.99 upfront everything else is the same.

I was tempted by there 12month sim only 10GB for £15 +vat offer

Looks like EE upped the monthly price of the 40GB plan by £5 and the upfront cost on the 25GB plan from £99.99! Very strange.

When I ordered on Saturday morning, the two 4GEE Max plans were: 25GB data for £65.99 and £99.99 upfront. Or 40GB data for £65.99 with £149.99 upfront.

The Retentions team offer was either reduce upfront of 25GB plan to £9.99 or the 40GB plan to £29.99 plus £8 DPD delivery charge.

Likely 'cause you bought both a watch and phone - probably set the "someone's got your card details and is having a field day on the Apple site" alarms off :D
