Xbox series controller.
Like I said stuttering happens at time where on M/KB it’s stuttering/juddering non stop.
Will try PS5 controller now but I doubt it will make any difference.
This is what it looks like but it gets much worse at times.

Edit: Yup stutters the same on PS5 controller.

GPU utilization @ 62% - you capped frame rate, DLSS or 1440p?

Yeh, your GPU usage is low, I'm getting 100% on mine (obviously it will dip when I get over 100fps, my limit).

Seeing your latest post, having a 4090 probably explains it!

I just loaded mine up again to check, still next to zero stutter, smooth as margarine.

what cpu and gpu you got.?

Why you need to use DLSS with a 4090 if it's only at 62%? If the 4090 is doing 62% with DLSS it points to not needing DLSS. What happens running native? Or that unplayable? DLSS shouldn't be a crutch to make the game work.
I'm running DLSS quality as it hardily looks any different to me than native in this game while reducing power consumption by about 100-150W and reducing noise. Without DLSS the game runs the same so stutters a lot.
I think this game doesn't like 5000 series and earlier AMD CPUs apart from 5800X3D maybe although @uscool says it stutters on his 5800X3D as well.

this is where I get the judder even though the FPS isnt dropping

Yeah that was one of the worst spots for stutter for me as well. I'm now very far in the game and found more places like that. The game mostly stutters inside building and stays smooth outside which I find quite strange.
Also your frametime graph doesn't show the judder and that's what I noticed on my system at times as well which again is very weird.

Oh I see, well that's fair enough, I just wondered, if you say it looks the same then fair play to DLSS. What about FRame Generation, or is that just not an option in game?

I'm gonna wait to get this, Keysites have it at a decent price but hopefully performance will be optimized in a month or 3. I want to play this, just not paying top dollar for something that aint there yet. Not played dying Light2 yet so will get that next for my Zombie fix.

No frame generation in this game although It would make the stutter probably even worse as it doubles your framerate but makes stutter more noticeable.
For example in cyberpunk frame generation looks great and is mega smooth wheres in hogwarts with enabled ray tracing it is a disaster.

Ok I now see why people are really miffed about the shaders taking so long. It was only 10-15 mins on my desktop (7900X and 3080) but as an experiment I installed the game on my Gaming Laptop (12th gen i7/3070) earlier and the shaders took FOREVER. Once that was finally done, it was more playable (consistent 60+ fps) on my laptop @ 1080p than it is on my desktop @ 1440p. Fingers crossed the upcoming patch(es) improves things.
