Scarface have you turned off hyper threading? SMA? If not the game is only using 6 cores. You should be seeing 24 cores (inc SMD) in those photos.

I don't think so... I'm only showing T0 for each core, mainly because I got bored of going through in HwInfo selecting each one for display :D Good shout though...

People with the same issue on Reddit with the same issue suggested turning off SAM. Obviously I don't have an AMD card, but I've disabled the equivalent ResizeableBAR in my BIOS and although it hasn't completely sorted it, it's definitely improved it, 70%+ and getting 70-75fps now. Happy with that.

So how does the game run on AMD 7000 series.? Don't know if I should go with 13700k or 7800x3D today.
Seems the game runs badly on AMD 5000 but not sure about 7000.

Running fine on my 5950x with a 3080Ti, can't imagine a 7000 being worse, does seem to want a lot of RAM, I have seem my system gobble upto 27Gb whilst playing, how much of that is caching and what is actually needed dunno but its a lot.

You should not need to turn of ReBAR in the BIOS< it's actually useful in many games - If you need to disable it in for a particular game, just do it via Nvidia Profile Inspector.
Are we expecting huge changes in this patch tomorrow? I've seen it mentioned a few times now.
They said it's a much bigger patch, so I suspect a rework of a whole bunch of stuff from shader comp to textures to the effects the engine uses etc.

I'm about 13 hours into this now. I had the stutter in the cut scene in the town at the start and I have had one crash. Other than that it has ran really well. I have also used a combination of mouse and controller and not noticed any major issues when panning, but I would say it wa smoother with controller though.

I've got a 3080 (latest drivers), Ryzen 5600x and 32GB of ram. I did turn a couple of the settings down a notch (cloud shadows, motion blur (off), chromatic abberation (off)) and I am running at 1440P with DLSS Performance. Getting between 80-90 FPS in most places.

this is where I get the judder even though the FPS isnt dropping

and you don't get stutter/judder in this spot for example.?

Only really had a bit stutter running maxxed at 4k this was more loading type stutter that didn't happen again after first load, tried DLSS quality and it was all good, though its fair to say considering the hardware I'm packing that grates a bit especially when I tried it on PS5 game trial and I feel its better thare, just shows what an amazing bit of kit the PS5 is and how much better games can be when targeting one piece of hardware.

I'll be honest though I'm not going round looking for issues/improvements, just playing, still a nice game even after all these years.

So today is supposed to be big patch day...

Should point out that I have been trying to play the New Game+ I started but ever since hotfix 1017, the game just crashes randomly no matter what settings I use now it seems.

Always been 24/48 as the bulk of my media consumption is at 48KHz, most games also employ 48KHz audio so makes sense to use that sampling rate and avoid potential conversion artefacts

Been holding out from playing, would love the stutter/judder to be fixed even though it only happens in some areas

Will probably just get on playing with it after today's patch

Works fine since the hotfix from NVIDIA, interesting that NVIDIA experience didn't highlight this was released, had to find out through grapevine and download it manually..

Decent enough so far, but very system heavy, 50-80% CPU usage constantly, GPU around 80-90%, it is pretty at times though.

Nvidia never post up hotfix drivers on GFE, it's always a manual download because hotfix drivers are beta and GFE is only for WHQL game ready and studio drivers.

So glad I finally get to play this game. Loving it so far, 23 or so hours so according to steam, admittedly I'm doing a lot of searching round and like to play as sneakily as possible. Great story, not sure how close to the end I am, but feels like I'm getting there.
Luckily had no real issues since the first/second day of launch
