Tell you what though, Grounded+ is very hard lol, dying a lot, but each re-run of the same bit trying different tactics which is quite fun. The super limited ammo and drops from enemies is also a challenge, you are given the bare minimum and every shot has to count, or you shoot multiple enemies with one round if they stand in front of each other!

no more crashes for me since increased page from 2GB to 6GB running a calibrated 48" CX & struggling to see where im going as HDR is so caliberated that its litteraly pitchblack everywhere :D

RAM is dirt cheap at the moment. Grab at least 32GB. Even 64GB is cheaper now than what I paid for my 32GB a year or so ago.

I got the 16Gb 8 pack 3600cl14 sticks.

Any idea if I can just buy another 16Gb of the same stuff and add it together?

Do we even really need more than 16Gb tho?

Should be fine getting another pair I would imagine. But you can always ask them.

If you don't intend to upgrade the whole pc in the next year or so then I would say just upgrade.

Well the latest patch has fixed the keymapping issues, as well as the publicised mouse fix, so I can finally play the game, and it looks stunning on my 3090 and runs very nicely in ultra at 1440p (though I cap to 60fps as I prefer to run cooler and quieter and 60fps runs nice and smooth).

Finally can rebind those blooming arrow keys :p

Also load times are much faster now. about 24 seconds to load a save which is down from the previous 43 seconds. No idea about shader comp as not had to redo one since installing the hotfix nvidia drivers and that took 23 minutes or so.

I use RTSS for all screenshots but the main thing is I do not have HDR enabled in Windows when gaming with a view to take screenshots. Washed out screenshots are only evident in games when you are using HDR mode as only Geforce Experience seems to actually know when you are in HDR, and will save a HDR enabled image which then needs to be tonemapped in another tool to become a normal jpg with SRGB colours. So to avoid all that faff, I just game in SDR which still outputs amazing colours and brightness on OLED

Oh also, be sure to properly use the brightness calibration screen in the game's video settings. The balance between light and dark is quite delicate, so as long as that is set right, you should not see washy colour in SDR screenshots either.

Aha! Thanks for that. I shall give this a try if I want to take some screenshots in future. I took some in Cyberpunk today today that looked sumptuous while I was playing in HDR but then I brought them up after and was horribly disappointed at how poor they looked in comparison.

If it's happening in the same area, then the issue is not system related, especially after a CPU upgrade.
Yeah I think it’s Ryzen related but people don’t want to admit it.
Finished the game second time yesterday as I was close to the end and at least I had zero crashes so there is an improvement.
Stutters in places just like it did before although this time without as many framerate drops.

Played for first time for about 2 hours yesterday and had no crashes and decent performance. Got a couple of questions though:
- on a controller the aiming seems pretty crappy, like there's a massive dead zone in the middle. Is this normal? You'd think they'd have fixed that being it's been on 4 systems now.
- when I move the camera to look some textures darken, this is especially noticeable in the carpet in Joel's house but does it on any surface with shadows really. Does it do this for anyone else? I've tried changing my TV settings like dynamic contrast etc.. and it made no difference and tried a few of the lighting settings in the game and no effect there either.

Thanks
