You could get an SVD or Vamo for that. It would really bug me knowing that I could have it for half the price from Slowtech though. That said, I'm already getting impatient waiting for my Nemesis clone which was been on "information received" for 6 days (at least two weeks to go before it ships no doubt)

When did you order it? Mine went onto "shipped to GB" on the 5th

Ah, mine only left for GB yesterday (just showed up on the tracking site on the 5th). Mine was Singapore post, was yours HK or Singapore?
 
What is this coil buddy you guys are on about? My nemesis clone and Igo-w are en route, so I plan on embarking on this cotton wick micro coil madness that you guys seem so into!
 
Yep, getting the coil warm with a few tugs, rather like getting a partially lit cigarette going, is normal behaviour and won't do any harm. Just be sure to stop if you get a burnt taste, as it can be horrible if the coil gets too hot and burns the liquid.
 
That's why I buy 54mg nic instead of 72mg. I know I'm being a pansy, but it just allows for errors if I make a maths mistake when mixing or have a big spill.

I think they would be too fine a cable to wick well. Most of the cables are quite thick fibres. I've tried this, and while ti does wick very well, the "no hotspots" is a lie, and they are big heatsinks and take a lot of battery power to get hot. I had mixed feelings about them.

TBH I don't think anyone here uses one, so that may be why you haven't had any feedback on it. Try UKV, you're bound to find someone over there with a strong opinion on the matter ;)

Because isn't it just the same as a bog standard EVOD / EGO battery but more powerful and nicer looking? I would have thought it is better to have VV/VW? Sounds like a downgrade to a VV/VW to me....

As I said before I have no real experience except what I have read so I might be talking rubbish, sorry if I am lol.

*edit* Ah I see I just read about "kicks" so you can have the best of both... Makes sense

I have occasionally felt the same way, but I have a nemesis clone on the way to see what all the fuss is about. The main benefit seems to be less resistance between the battery and the coil, as well as a compact form factor and the ability to go sub-ohm on your coils. I think having both makes good sense.

Well I got home and the postie had managed to wedge my nemesis clone and igo-w through the letterbox. The igo-w needs drilling out, but damn it looks good.

The Igo-W seems good so far, and it came precoiled, which was handy. 1.5Ohm dual coil, and it actually vapes okay. It could do with another air hole on the other side, or at least a bigger hole though. Draw is on the tight side.
 
Definitely going to fiddle with this Igo a bit to get things working a bit better. Sometimes it's great, but I think it needs more airflow. I wish I had two small holes that I could drill out, rather than just the one, because it's pretty solid and doesn't look easy to mod.
 
So I decided I'd break out my 3 week steeped VC and try it out in my new nemesis/Igo-W setup...

I took a few puffs and

mouthgasm!

I had no idea it was that tasty!
 
Went out to dinner last night and was topping up my Igo W with my 3 week steeped VC, when I noticed a pool of liquid on the table. I thought it was just condensation from my glass of water, but no. The needle tip cap for my bottle is knackered and I had just squeezed 10ml of precious VC all over the table, my nemesis, and myself. I smelt like a sweet factory all night. Rinsed my hands off just in case after cleaning it up, but I was mainly gutted that I had wasted that golden liquid!
