Just had my 2 nemesis clones arrive - posted 7th nov, arrived today, in case anyone is wondering about shipping times.

Just had the same issue figuring out how to build the nemesis for 18650 non kick mode..basically you need to remove to kick ring at the 'head'/atty end, then use the 2 bigger tubes and the switch end for 18650 mode

atty end has airflow control ring, then the head itself, then kick ring - i removed airflow control to get a good grip then unscrewed the kick ring.

Protip: screw your atty into the top ring, then tighten the adjustable centre-pin onto it before screwing the top ring onto the main tubes and finally the bottom cap. You'll get a perfectly flush atty every time and you won't ever screw the centre pin down with the atty and lose the connection.

Also, how diddy is it in 18350 mode! Doesn't last long at all though.

BTW I found a good trick with the steeping... People are saying "steep for 2 weeks" etc.....

You can just get some hot water, not boiling but hot.... Put the bottles in a plastic sealed bag and leave them in the water... Take the bottles out and shake them every 20 mins... when the water goes cold, add some more hot water and repeat.... and then leave the lids off and let them air for a few hours.... Seems to work well and you do not have to wait a week to try your new liquid.

To be fair even 5 mins makes a big difference. It isn't quite the same as proper steeping though. Not with vanilla custard anyway (I tried).

Chances are the batteries are knackered by now after sitting charged for so long. If the atty doesn't heat up at all then it's either that or the coils are buggered. Either way, that kit is a bit of a dead end with that fitting. the 910 connector is a bit like the laserdisc in that it was in a battle for becoming the "standard" against the 510 fitting, which won.

Already signed, and have shared on fb as well. I can't believe after overturning the original draft they came back with something worse.

Where I've found myself stuck indoors the past week, I've been using my dual nanocoiled Igo-W (1.3ohm overall) - it's so tasty, reliable and easy to whip out and change the cotton to switch flavours.
My AGA-T2's rubber insulator on the +ve post's top has severed - shorting out the 1.7 ohm microcoil and burning through the cotton wrapped mesh wick;
My attempt at a homemade RSST hybrid kit for the Sigelei 19b has been of some success, but the SS rope wick setup keeps causing the resistance to fluctuate between 1.2 & 4.7 ohms. And the JB Steamworks Chamber Reducer causes major juice leakage...
My AGA-TD I've turned into an Auto-feeding Dripper needs recoiling and the cotton replacing, which requires complete deconstruction to do...

So I'm left with a dripper & the Aspire BDC at the moment - but I'm still vaping and enjoying what I can actually use.
Just need an evening to recoil everything else so I can have more choice in what juices I vape....

Still rolling along though :D

Dual nanos on an igo w sounds awesome. I have a clone, and it is fundamentally flawed compared to the real deal. The posts don't have holes to pass the legs through, so wrapping around the top screw always makes it tricky to get the coil placement right, and it only has one air hole, which is a major issue for dual coiling. Still miles better flavour than the nova I was using previously!

2hrs after putting magnets in my nemesis, it falls out of my pocket and breaks one of the magnets! Gutted! Back to springs :(

Managed to flick some vanilla custard into my eye this morning while removing a bottle cap. It stings like a bugger so I don't recommend it.

Ah now it doesn't have to be expensive. Neither does using a computer though, and most of us here know how that goes when you decide to start tinkering!

When you chase the best kit, you'll spend more money, but I know plenty of people happily puffing away on clearos screwed onto ego batts.

You'll probably go through about 2ml of liquid per day from how you smoke. I tend to chain vape in the evenings and barely vape at all at work (except for breaks). You just find your rhythm eventually.

I'm debating spending some xmas money on some vaping gear, so what is the recommended atty these days? Is everyone still in love with their Kayfun Lite 3.1/clones? Is there something better? I'm after ease of maintenance and good performance as my key qualities here. I don't want to dread recoiling it.

I'm thinking something new to sit on my Nemmy clone, a kick, and maybe if you're still doing those kits, RedMogg, one of them. Then I'm sorted :)

Hi chaps, question about cotton: how dry is too dry? Red has sent me one of his fantastic kits, and I now have an epic dual coil in my igo-w. However, it vaped best when it's on the dryer side (I still have some work to do). So at what point do I start worrying about burning the cotton?

This is what I have now. Maybe too much? I need to lift the coils a bit, but it spreads the coil open of I do :(

FANTASTIC!! My KFL AND Nemesis are RUINED!! My own fault for not locking the lock when I went Subway yesterday in the van, me and 2 mates in Subway for about 15 minutes, came back to a VERY bananary van. Picked up my device to have a vape and burnt my fingers. Used my mates leather gloves to take it apart to cool. The battery is fine and has charged fine, was warm as opposed to hot. the KFL has melted the small plastic part under one of the post sections. The Nemesis had broken, the little screw to adjust battery rattle and get a good connection has come off WITH the piece of Delrin and now won't fit back it as for some reason, it is SMALLER than the hole...I also fear my Kick is dead...

Brutal. I've had a few toasty moments myself with my nemesis clone, but that delrin piece went on a friend's clone in the same situation. The post melted the delrin and stripped the threads. I'm pretty careful now to always lock it!

Iirc thats the one that takes 14500 batteries?

Also my Nemisis magnets came today, they make a big difference, the throw is much less and feels much smoother.

just don't drop your mod like I did or the magnets can break. I think maybe glueing them into place while they were still in one piece might have worked as well.

So what is the consensus on the ITV program?

My personal opinion in brief is that it went a long way to say basically nothing.

I feel like they went out of their way to find negatives. One dude who smoked for decades, out of millions of vapers, gets pneumonia and OMG ban vaping! And being a knob to the guy in the shop. "all my customers say they feel better" "yeah, well that doesn't mean they will ARE better". Gah. I was raging a bit, but at least there was one dude who got more than 5s of screentime and said that vaping was the most effective smoking reduction tool ever.

I'm loving my igo-w now. Always works. ALWAYS. No hassle, and I carried a drip bottle of juice with me everywhere anyway. I'm officially converted to drippers. SO, what to get next? There are lots of dripper clones on FT, anyone have any recommendations? I'd kill for one that wasn't a wraparound post (the igo-w I have doesn't have the holes in the post :( ). Dual coil does rinse my batts though: 1.5 18650s a day, and no kick to keep them going.

It's either that or I jump back into RBA tanks. Everyone here still loving the Kayfun Lite?
