Warhammer: Vermintide 2

Payday 2 said the same thing about microtransactions, yet added them in eventually. Fatshark don't have any history of being scummy though, but we never know what will happen in the future.
True, it made that game look a mess too :D

Hopefully they stick with what they have said.

On the road map supplied above, it mentions 2 dlc maps in the next month. Are they paid for or free updates? If so do we know how much they will charge?

Having a nightmare with server stabilty. Had a fair few games now where something goes awry and the mission restarts from the beginning. Also the AI on the bots is shocking.

Yup, I've been trying to gear up and get used to the game playing some private matches with bots but the AI can be awful - in particular it doesn't know how to handle ranged classes, especially Sienna. On the other hand, if I control Sienna then the AI does a decent job of playing the melee / tank roles.

My experience of the AI is that they snipe specials almost instantly. I've been testing out my big hammer on the training dummies and discovered that the power attack does less damage than a normal one, it also seems to not care about armour too much.

Yes, they do seem to do well with killing specials ... often before I've even noticed them lol. But they do very poorly in other respects.

Yea, they're not generally 'smart', but like you said, the amount of times I've heard them call out a special and then they've killed them before they've even finished saying what they've spotted!

I'm lvl 30 and I just spam LMB with my halbert at everything. Only ever use power attack when there's a horde charging my way. Pity really, feels so noob just spamming left click through the entire mission.

What difficulty level are you playing on ? On champion difficulty and above you can inflict friendly fire damage so you have to be careful about how you attack.

New patch out, lot of fixes for Skittergate, which I'm glad to see, been avoiding that map like the plague.

Love how they measure certain "units" in the game.

Decreased the amount of troll projectile-vomit to 20 liters

I'm running kruber as my primary (hammer and pistol), and am catching up with my ironbreaker (crowd control /elite basher with the hammer, drake pistols). Tempted to give inquisitor a go as well, but wasn't to get them to level 30 first. Champion changes the class dynamics so much with the ranged friendly fire.

Yea i think champion ranged friendly fire hits sienna pretty hard, makes it very difficult when matchmaking with randoms as most people just jump in front of you and the horde hacking left click.

I struggle enough with Sienna on low difficulties, would hate for it to be harder! Got the Pyromancer subclass unlocked last night and not sure whether I prefer it over the starter one...

Currently only played Sienna and the dwarf - who I really enjoy. Need to try out the other characters this week.

Elf takes a hit too. And good luck using the drake gun in champion without torching your teammates. You have to be with an experienced team who know that you go in front and duck if you're melee

yeah this is great fun. Started playing the elf just at random but might switch to a tank, i like the heavy feels. Lovely level design too. I hope they keep the interest up

As someone who plays huntsman for a relaxed champion game, I find it hard to friendly fire tbh. This is not me bragging saying my aim is OMG1337, it's not great tbh, but I generally won't shoot if I think I'm remotely close to hitting someone. I try to thin far off hordes and I let melee fighters do what they need to. Don't feel like you have to shoot everything and let melee champs do some work, plus if there are some closer targets they'll generally go for them I've found so it helps to 'control' those players that play with a slayer mentality that they must hit all the things all the time.

BTW, my experience is elf players are the worst. :p After several days of derpy elves it's swayed my belief, from them strafing behind me while i'm stationary and then unloading arrows into my non moving head, to calling health and potions for them and them just ignoring everything. Or running far enough ahead so no-one can help them within 5 seconds if they get jumped and falling off the river crossings on halescourge...Yea it's been a bad few days
