I too saw The Road last night.
Bleak depressing film, 5/10.
Just my opinion, but i can only realy see this appealing to a very niche audience, it realy did nothing for me, and most people in the cinema last night seemed rather restless.

Yea, that's a really good film! Wasn't quite what I expected. I thought it was going to be like men started getting children or something along those lines
Watched The Shining yesterday for the first time. Thought it was about time and I can clearly see why it is a classic! Jack Nicholson sure can act

The Shining is good, too.
Don't know if others feel this way but usually in films just as you feel it gets going it starts to come to an end.It's only Feb? Can you see in to the future and all the new releases this year?

bah didn't realise there were 2 remakes.

I have mixed opinions about it, their were some funny moments, good moments and some damn right freaky parts.
but it got me thinking after and including the film, and not many films I can walk out of and think pretty deeply about, I'd recommend it if you enjoy any genre of film, but it can be quite depressing.

Great film!
I watched Land of the Dead on Blu-Ray.
It was the directors cut which I haven't seen before as well. Bonus!
Post Apocalyptic scorched earths I'd imagine have a tendency to fit that description.
They got what they aimed for then.
