What film did you watch last night?

The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Wes Anderson continues to do what he does best. Zany, hilarious, and thoroughly entertaining. Superb ensemble cast and standout performance from Ralph Fiennes as M. Gustave.

Only fault I can give is I didn't think F. Murray Abraham was a perfect fit for old-Tony Revolori.

9.5/10

Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
1st half 2/10. This was like reading a boring book. They took over 1 hour to find a reason to (re)send the 2 main characters back into the dome. This could've been done in 25 minutes or less. Poor editing.
2nd half 7.5/10. This was like watching a movie.
I enjoyed the first one. This was one poor.
Overall: 4.5/10.

Jack The Giant Slayer
3/10.

Nothing special.
Perhaps this is more of a kids movie - not sure.

CGI
The CGI is about the worst I have seen in any movie, from the last 10 years.

The actors who were on the green screen, where darker than the CGI, which was superimposed. Whoever did the CGI should be ashamed of themselves.
