What film did you watch last night?

The Internship - I was expecting this was going to be bad from the off so with low expectations set it didn't disappoint! Had a few moments but its the usual predictable underdog story.

Lone Survivor - I tried to like this but just couldn't, it felt like to much Hollywood going on that took away from the actual story.
If anything it showed the Nazy Seals to be very amateur in there approach (being an amrchair expert and all that :p)

Enjoyed that more than I Am Legend.

I like 'Last man on earth' starring Vincent price

Have to agree, I hate child actors.

Watched White House Down over the weekend (already seen Olympus Has Fallen) and quite enjoyed it. Never been a huge fan of Channing Tatum (have to say his wife is tasty though) but it was good fun. The child was super annoying, I'd have killed her so many times, irritating grr! 7/10

Also watched Zombie Ass:Toilet of the Dead. It was over the top stupidness but made us laugh a fair bit, one of those you'll either go with it or hate it films. 6.5/10

Frankensteins Army - POV found footage type film, sounded like it could be fun, but was dreadful. Acting was terrible, story was terrible (how can nazi zombie/machines be made this bad??) Some of the costumes were really good, others rather silly. As much as I love b-movies and zombies, only a 2/10 for me.

Watched a few films at the weekend:

Pain & Gain - a very strange 6/10 imo - it actually reminds you part way through the film that it is still a true story!
(although read the true life account after and you realise that they weren't so much of bumbling crooks as blood-thirsty murderers!)

American Hustle - disappointed to be honest - very little happened and what did happen was for the most part dull and boring! 3/10

Lone Survivor - Best of the 3 - 8/10 - Very well acted and superb insight (I would imagine anyway!) into the realities of war!

Have to agree. I almost turned it off after the first hour, but carried on watching and although it did improve, it wasn't enough to change my opinion that it was decidedly average bordering on dull.

Got round to watching Wolf of Wall Street,a long film but really enjoyed it.
Also after a few recommendations on here I watched Ironclad and The Innkeepers tonight. Both good films worth a watch.

Xmen.
More enjoyable than the last one for sure and looking forward to seeing how the saga finishes in the final chapter.

Quicksilver's segments were really excellent and provided many laughs :D

Edge of Tomorrow

8.5/10

Great film - saw it in 3d as it was the only time I could go.

Had to pay £2 for two pairs of glasses so it ended up being £14 for two people even with orange wednesday. Screen was tiny too lol.
