What film did you watch last night?

Watched Frank last night. Gave it a 7/10. A little bit different, decent performances from the cast and made me laugh on more than a few occasions.

Yeah it's an odd experience in a good way....because of the lack of visuals you imagine the lounge in his house the kitchen...the clothes of his wife etc...like reading a novel but watching a movie...

I loved it.

Aye, when you pick up the phone you don't cut to a new scene of the caller, you just hear the sounds coming out of the handset, it is up to you to fill in the details (click click?, oh, she's wearing her high heels and she is in the kitchen.)

Really looking forward to seeing this... I like your description ;)

;)

And the rest would have?? ;)

One thing that's always amused me about Speed is I believe the ransom was somewhere around $3.7m - I'm sure the plane it totals in the end cost more than that! :D

Lol true, but I found myself enjoying Speed even though it is so dated now. I also thought that the plane at the end might have had people on it initially. Still wasn't sure when it ended. Would have been a bit funny if they saved 20 people on a bus then wiped out a plane with 200 on.

Lol!

Didn't the huge bus windscreen wash not bug you at first?

Serious question though… Don't you find it refreshing seeing these old movies and not seeing cell phone zombies? So many people stand tall and communicate with each other so much better. As well as no relation to social media.

This thought had occurred to me when I saw Beverly Hills Cop again after the umpteenth time from a long time seeing it.
