What film did you watch last night?

You've got to be kidding me. Lucy is a terrible film and I am a big fan of Sci Fi movies. Does nothing for the genre. It's a pretty bad film on all counts.

it's just above average for me.. it was watchable though.. perhaps a bit of a marmite film.

Horrible Bosses 2: 4/10 Not a patch on the 1st. Was very meh.
Pulp Fiction: 9/10. Watched it again on sky and its just as good as I remember. Jules dialogue through out the film is just class.

Where you in my room last night.... Damn stalker :D LOL

I watched the same ones last night.

But my rating of HB2 is 2/10 the original was pretty damn funny. Although Jennifer is pretty hot :)

Donnie Darko. First time I watched it. Really enjoyed it but WTF! It was the original version, not the director's cut so now doing some Googling, and uncovering the PU, TU and PoTT theories :)

Director's cut is greatly inferior. Don't bother. There's bits in there that really drag and it's very clear why they were left on the cutting room floor.

I still couldn't get over not seeing Donnie Darko until last year. What is bizarre now with the amount of times I've heard Mad World and anytime I hear it now I think of Darko.

Creepy.

I thought the premise of Lucy was really good but the ending so let it down.

Yea, I'll turn myself into a supercomputer and knock you up a memory stick before I go off and join Johnny Depp in being "everywhere"

Watched Jupiter Accending. Really quite average, I knew it wasn't a great due to reveiws but had heard it was better than John Carter which I actually liked.
It was nothing more than average and that was when I watched it IMAX so on a normal screen it had to be dire. 4/10 I think there was less than 20 of us in an IMAX screen at 8.30 on a thursday night!

OK, here is my update on films I recently watched

47Ronin - 8/10
Quite liked this. I didn't have high hopes for it so was pleasantly surprised. Beautifully filmed with stunning scenario. Keanu's acting wasn't the best but teh storyline made up for it.

Welcome to the Punch - 7/10
Another film I wasn't expecting much from but did enjoy it. British film with a fairly predictable plot but worth watching

Sex Tape - 7/10
Pretty standard comedy with decent funny moments and always good to see Cameron Diaz semi nude ;)

Kingsman - 9/10

Matthew Vaughn is brilliant. The action in church was incredible, some really funny humour there too.

Jupiter Ascending - 6/10

I expected more from Wachowskis, it was not terrible, but the script needed a lot more work to be truly great.

Sabotage- turd 1/10

Cowboys and Aliens. Nonsense, but tbh, I quite enjoyed it really. 6.5/10

I have Sabotage on my watch list and thought it might be a good one to watch, but looks like I might have to keep it on the watch list for now and watch something else instead.

I had the same thought about Lucy, it was just so anti-climatic - parts of the film felt like attending a lecture too.

I found the trailer looked good for Jupiter Ascending, looking forward to seeing this although I'm not a fan of the two lead stars.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1

Maybe there was enough material for one more film (combine Part 1 and 2) as this feels very stretched out with countless filler.

Have to agree.

The Hunger Games was good, but Catching Fire didn't develop things as much as I'd hoped and unless the next film is jam packed with hours of unmissable content, then there's no way Mockingjay should have been split into two parts.

Misery

Been many many years since I had seen this film so I gave it a rewatch last night. Still as good as I remember. Great film and solid performances from Kathy bates and james caan. 7.5/10.
