What film did you watch last night?

Jaws - 10/10

I think i've finally seen it enough times (10+) to not find it as terrifying anymore but its still such a well put together film it really has no equal in the entire thriller/horror genre to me.

My number 1 film of all time.

The 7 or 8 minutes when they first cast sight of the shark on the Orca
..."You're gonna need a bigger boat "

is cinema that can't be equalled in my opinion.

War for the planet of the Apes 7.5/10

Yeah hmmm... Its a pretty film, the CGI is as expected top draw but it felt a touch on the long side, with a draggy middle.
Some bizzare choices made by characters which pretty much ruined our after film discussion as we dissected every plot hole and character stupidity.

Entertainment but forgettable.

Goes fairly catastrophically wrong towards the end during the final battle.

That Sugar Film

Was looking for something on Prime for the background, but it was actually an ok docu-film (ignoring that they used David Wolfe as a soundbite guy a few times, lol) about the evils of sugar in our diets.

Song at the end was pretty funny and catchy.

6/10
