What film did you watch last night?

Gamer - genuinely one of the worst films I've ever seen. The plot could not have made less sense. Even Dexter (Michael Hall) couldn't save it :(

Saw this the other night. I concur.
Followed by Far Cry. For the love of God WHY!
Didn't even know that was made into a movie.

Friday Night Lights.

An excellent sports film i stumbled across, American football might not be everyones cup of tea but its a very good watch with some good performances.

Not sure if its better than Any Given Sunday but its close.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991). One of my favourite films, although feels very dated now. I mainly like it because of Alan Rickman - he plays the Sheriff of Nottingham so well :)

Repo men,

0/10

awful cringe worthy cinema

Watched that (well half before I gave up) and what an awful premise for a film. Law just doesn't work as action hero type that he was meant to be and whole plot just overly ridiculous with some doses of "evil corporation" rhetoric to boot.

Brooklyn's Finest.

With such an awesome cast i was really looking forward to this, but it just failed to go anywhere. typical cop in New York stuff. Ethan Hawke (Sal) played a difficult role well which is one positive outcome . overall 6/10

Prince Of Persia Sands Of Time
I only watched it for Olga, film wise watched it all but I'd still give it 3/10.

Watched The Thing the other day. 10/10 for being awesome 80's crazy movie that beats pretty much any modern horror I can remember seeing lately

The Thing is amazing, because it actually bothers with a plot and takes the time to build some tension before descending into blood and guts.

See also: Alien.

The Karate Kid...

I was really worried they would ruin it but it really was a very good movie and it wasn't trying to be like the first karate kid.

Good fight scenes and some actual funny moments made for a good film. Would love to see a sequel.

7.5/10

Centurion

Better than expected nicely put together with some nice action and battles and fights.

Gritty gore

Nice backdrops of the Highlands

Defo worth a watch

Leaving Las Vegas...

Not entirely sure, quite a dark film, well acted by Cage, and Shue (Miaw)

7/10

Moon - reminded me of Silent Running (ace 70's sci fi) in that it was one man alone in space and atmosphere. The film was very enjoyable while watching it but then afterwards I started to feel that it was little more than an episode of the Twilight Zone, however it was very enjoyable. 4/5

Also on the Bluray was the director's (Zowie Bowie in his youth) first short film called Whistle - a half hour piece about a hit man with a family trying to get away from it all.
