Not a fan then?
No, no, no, I enjoyed the movie, i really did. But yes, the Worlds Greatest Detective solved the case, riddles etc, but it was always too late to do anything about it.
Not a fan then?
Everything would have gone down exactly the same had Batman not even been in the movie.
So Batman would have been there is he hadn't been in the movie? You're talking nonsense. Yes Batman didn't stop him until he stopped him, like every detective story ever. I've posted how it would have been different if he wasn't in the movie and you've admitted you're wrong. So you concede that for the rest of the movie Bats was always one step behind the clues/riddles. Bats would have ended up at the finale anyway due to the explosions going off - Mayor may have copped it, but the Riddler would have ended up behind bars.
Bats solved all the puzzles seconds before the main plan started blowing stuff up, so whether he solved the riddles or not, he would have still ended up in the same place.

The problem: Their lives were never really in any danger. There was zero sense of peril. Once the Riddler was out of the picture, locked up in jail, it came down to his internet friends to assassinate newly elected Mayor Bella Reál. Yet by the time Batman arrived to prevent this from happening, she'd already been shot.
It wasn't fatal -- she pretty quickly found the strength to wade through a lagoon of filthy water -- but her survival is just another reason why The Batman's ending suffered from low stakes.
The other reason: Gotham City had already been flooded by Riddler's bombs. Batman could only help by rescuing civilians from drowning in the deluge. Batman didn't know Catwoman would be at the mayor's address, so he wasn't racing to her rescue either.
The only stakes: Batman preventing further damage.
I am watching this now, binged 3 episodes last night!Saw the newly released episodes of Dahmer on Netflix.
Very good but rather sickening at times.
Imagine writing this post, thinking it's fine and clicking post. Take a look at yourself mate.Holy differing opinions! are "nonsense"? Got ya.
Nothing Bats did in the movie altered anything, except perhaps he may have been too late to save the Mayor if Riddlers internet fanboys were better shots. Simp more Batgirl.

Yeah I had it on in the background the other night and would agree with that. Didn’t seem to have much dialogue to it. The moon chase sequence was spectacular.I thought Ad Astra had a few stunning set pieces, loosely strung together with a limp story.
