What film did you watch last night?

Marvel Cinematic Universe continued with Iron Man 2. I'm going to give this a 5/10. I really am not fussed with Robert Downey Junior. Now, finally, I can watch The Avengers tonight!
 
Bullet train 7/10

Slightly above average film. A few too many UK accents for a Japanese train, but whatever.

More comedy than action really, even the violence had comedy in it! Nothing really unique story wise but it passed the time. Would not watch again and probably would have skipped it was it not for the big actors they managed to get onboard !

Yes, I'd give it a 7/10 as well.

Had some good moments but I nearly gave it a 6/10 as it was often painful to hear an American (Brian Tyree Henry) do a cockney accent so poorly at times, especially when he is cast with and exchanges much of his dialogue with a British actor that only served to highlight how poor his accent was.

On the other hand Hiroyuki Sanada just seems to raise the level of any film or scene he is in.

Eye in the Sky (2016)

Surprised me this film. 8/10

Flows really well despite the story. It's a tad far fetched maybe or not exactly true to current warfare, but it is very tense and feels quite believable due to it being engaging.

Judging by some of the "media" surrounding where people are saying they couldn't last 20mins I'm inclined to believe him! (Obviously a lot of people are saying it's trash but hey I trust Kermode's opinion more than some Twitter troll looking for headlines)

Interesting - i'm going to watch as it's Anna but knowing this makes me more intrigued.
 
Bullet Train - 8/10

I really enjoyed this. Good fun, some good humour and some interesting choreographed fights with enough story to keep it ticking along.
 
Watched a couple:

Vesper 6.5/10
Decent post apocalyptic sci-fi. Pretty bleak though.

Goodnight mommy 6.7/10
German/Austrian horror film. Quite creepy and good twist.
