Still a good film, though most will probably prefer the first film over this. Well-worth checking out, though.

IIRC, it's the third film and beyond where the series takes a bit of a nosedive.

It's a parody movie of the life of a man who made his career making parodies.

Yeah, I get that, like I say it was really just a comedy to me. I'm probably not the target audience as I wasn't ever a fan of his in the first place.

Just re watched rogue one, this really is a jewel in a turd crown for the non original movies.

The sheer scale of the space battles and the non Mary sue theme with everyone being vulnerable makes for some incredibly moving moments.

An easy 8/10 even on a second watch

8/10?!

Imo, it was a completely forgettable film with boring characters and no development. Shoddy CGI. The only one good scene at the end with Vader which was unnecessary pointless pandering, it was only there to make you forget about the last 2 hours of the boring movie. Vader also doesn't act like that when he boards the Tantive IV in A New Hope.

I believe I've seen parts of/tried watching this a couple of times, and although there are some interesting moments later on,
overall, I find it a chore to watch, and ultimately it doesn't deliver - at least up to the point I've seen anyway.

What on earth was this about? Dull stilted totally lacking any plot with some cgi thrown in with no real thought. 3 out of 10 is probably me being generous I changed channels before the end couldn't bear the boredom any longer. Garbage.

Watched Rogue One again tonight too after finishing Andor off last week. Definitely makes for a better film knowing, what Andor at least, has gone through to get to this point. Still the best film of the Disney era and Andor the best TV series.

Rogue one is by far and away the best Disney star wars film. It's the only one I have bothered watching a second time. The others are all utter bilge.

Realy nice little movie. Great for all ages and with strong messaging about positivity etc. Great evening family movie.

The Estate
Duchovny in a moustache is just wrong, but also hilarious

Adult humour throughout and actually quite decent kick back and enjoy type of flick.
