La La Land
Did know anything before starting. Was going to walk away after first scene and opening, but stuck with it and really enjoyed it.
You need to watch Cronenbergs films while ‘enjoying’ hallucinogenics, I recommend mushrooms. Then you’ll not be sure if what you’re watch is actually part of the film or some mad trip you’ve taken, which makes his films infinitely more fun.I even tried to go on a Cronenberg marathon, especially since 'The Fly' was fantastic, but his films are definitely not for me despite me being an albeit mainstream horror fan.
This one popped up on IMDB the other day, might give it a goFlow. Animated drama about a cat and some other animals in a humanless world dealing with a flood. No dialogue just animal noises. Good one for all the family and barrels along. Short runtime in relative terms. 9/10
Alien resurrection, i wasnt sure if i'd seen this before but after watching the first 3 recently i gave it a go. Turns out i either hadn't seen it before or i'd erased it from my brain. poo/10
Is this the one where James May teaches Jeremy Clarkson to be a pilot?Top Gear: Maverick

Only to see Clarkson getting a bullet in the ear?To be fair: I'd watch that movie.
I watched this one last night too, after the first one a couple nights ago. I preferred the first a lot more.Bank of Dave 2 - very enjoyable
Like both of these movies and feel i should watch them again now.National Treasure, Book of Secrets. Not really a fan of Nicholas Cage but it’s the kind of film I do enjoy, moves a long at a good pace which passes 2 hours quickly.
