Resident evil: retribution 6/10 Better than the last one but not as good as the first ones, I am a fan of the resident evil movies but this last one lacks any depth but has its action moments.

Hit and run 7/10 - kirsten bell, was a bit annoying in this movie but still nice to look at. The movie kept me watching until the end, light hearted silly almost-action movie.

Premium Rush 5/10 - considering it is a movie about bike messengers i was surprised that it kept me interested until the end, but overall quite cheesy and lame.

The possession 5/10 - well acted horror movie but not very scary at all and kind of boring.

Been watching some old movies on bluray.

Golden eye - 7/10 - was great to watch on hd, still one of my favourite james bonds.
Tomorrow never dies 6/10 - I like the story in this but the movie as a whole quite weak.
Casino royal - 6/10 - I did not realy enjoy this one that much bit too long and boring.
Quantum of solace - 8/10 - First time watching it and thought it was realy good, short and fast paced just the way bond films are meant to be, great bond girls as well.

The core - 5/10 Still has great specialfx and ok disaster movie but super cheesy and the computer guy is dumb.
The game - 8/10 classic action/thriller that was still good to watch even though i knew the ending, had not seen in probably 10 years.

Channel hopping i caught this on sky movies and its the first time ive watched, really enjoyed it and don't know why i have not seen it before now given its age but it was very enjoyable, nice to see a movie with no fancy effects, good story and good acting.

7.5/10

I read the reviews on RT and could not understand why everyone got it backwards. A fair complaint was the style of camera work in QOS that was fast paced and flicking about but this suited the fast paced nature of the movie. I am not a fan of eva green and think her char in CR was a realy bad bond girl. IT was not a bad movie and certainly not the worst james bond but i didn't rate it very highly as boring and too slow.

Cabin in the woods.

Great movie and the twist is great even if it is a little obvious from the get go. Saw it in the cinema and couldn't wait to get my hands on the blu-ray. Just a pity there's a major authoring error with it, and all copies are being recalled.

The film gets a solid 8/10 from me.

Tideland - I was reading about Terry Gilliam and this was his only film I had not seen so watched it. Wow! A 9 year old girl is left virtually alone in an abandoned farm house and talks to dolls heads as friends. What an odd film, to be fair, at the beginning of the DVD there was a brief introduction by Mr Gilliam saying that some people will love it, some hate it and others will be left confused. I also read that Michael Palin stated that it was either Terry Gilliam's best or worst film, but he wasn't sure which. I loved it, although while watching it I didn't, if that makes any sense! Anyway I would recommend. 4/5
