Schindlers list on tv last night. A beautifully shot film but the subject matter is so disturbing. After recently watching a documentary about children of nazi war criminals. Amon goth, the commandant of plaszow was mentioned by his daughter, the program basically confirmed that he was as sadistic as portrayed in the film. Some of theese children carry the burden of guilt because of their family name that theyve taken the decision to be sterilised to discontinue their family name.

watched a few movies - me and the wife (well especially me) have seen so many (almost everything) Im resorted to find obscure ones off lovefilms ...

assault - french; subtitled but cool flick

blame - another decent one (my type)

elevator - so-so but kept me interested

388 arletta avenue - similar to atm (cool flick); I recommend atm first then this one (this one is so-so but again but again kept me interested

straightheads - cool film; although quite err gritty etc ... 4/5

Quest for Fire , saw it the first time in the early eighties on my video 2000 , just watched it for first time in nearly 30 years .
This is such a classic and yet i never hear it get mentioned anywhere .

Life if Pi - 7.5/10

Good story and visuals. Enjoyed this.

Zero Dark Thirty 8/10
A very good film. I wasn't really expecting a huge amount. Quite long but worth it.
