Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Someone tried having 1 of my sideskirts as well.

Anyone had to tackle the back brakes here, changing the pads? I did fronts other week which was easier than i thought it would be, but been told the backs have to have a special ford tool to do them?
 
The Green wheels look really great James!

Sorry to hear that too Will about your side skirt. Will it be easy enough to fix? I was always worried about coming back to my ST to find stuff missing, I have no idea why it's so highly targeted.

The hardest part is pushing the piston back in as it's not a case of just pushing, you have to wind it back in.

You'd need a caliper re-wind tool :)

Ive had mine changed. Took it to my mates and it was easy enough but you need a windback thing otherwise it wont go back. Mine took a while cause everything was seized on.
 
Well nipped into Halfords to see if the had a cheapo re-wind tool but they only had a set which was £70.

Come out with a Halfords professional 150 piece tool set and screw driver set though! At a bargain £107 :)
 
Yay got to work this morning and found some low life has stolen my spoiler, woop!

Luckily they haven't damaged the boot in the process but really.. what's the point?!

Have ordered a new one but not sure whether i'll be fitting it as with it's stance at the moment, quite like the non spoiler look haha

Seriously considering selling up because of all these thefts. Why steal off of someone else's, obvious, pride and joy?

Yeah it was on the drive, we were on the sofa and heard a 'snap' and the GF turned around and said whats that? I went straight to the window and had a good look out and no one was out there so whether it was snapped off and then came back for it or legged it I dunno.

Thats what the GF said and it's probably true but I'm not changing something just because of some low life scum tbh.

Will probably look into getting CCTV for the front of the house more to just deter people in the future.

For the time being, I quite like the non spoiler look, even though i've just bought a new one.

Does make you think why bother and is it best to just have a boggo standard 1.2 but why should I? I work hard for my money and it shouldn't be down to scum to dictate on what I spend it on.
 
It's just rather gutting. :(

Would a proximity alarm deter anyone from stealing anything from the car? Just wondering whether to invest into a good alarm. If it would be worth it.

I thought mine looked awful without the spoiler on! Couldn't get it back on quick enough!

Sorry to her about the thieving little scum. I am lucky in the area where i live as every body knows every body. Though i do worry when i go to Sheffield/Killamarsh/Worksop areas with work.
 
I've never had a problem really and moved house in April. I'm quite close to a fairly rough estate but far away enough never to of had any issues before so who knows.

I think it's because the car is so low?

How are you finding those new coilovers? Run into any hiccups yet or as good as they were the day you put them on? :)

I think for the look to work sans spoiler you need to get some deep dish rims, stretched rubber, lots of poke, totally euro styled.

Borbets anyone?
