Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Got some Recaro Sportster CS seats today. Damn they're sweet! Much comfier than standard. :D

Tut posting that with out pics lol. How much did they cost? I would love some but I'm planning on selling the car in March and picking a Clio 200 or VXR corsa up.

It's a 56 plate with 42000 miles on it, thinking selling it for 2.5 - 3k come March.

My bedroom at my mums house is starting to look like a ford parts shop.

Disks
Pads
Mudflaps
Spacers
Alloys
Paints
Splitter (arriving tomorrow)

And loads of other little bits.

Not bad to say i think i have decided not to bother with any of it except the new disks.

Here they are. :) Collected them yesterday. Got them second hand for a good price I think and they're in 'as new' condition. They're £2000 with the brackets new; I didn't pay that much.

Haven's used them on any long journeys yet but just going round country roads you can really tell the difference; the shoulder supports really help and support your arms when turning in the bends.

Im still yet to do something with the back seats as they look odd being red now. Might get the inner red covered or just replace the seats for full leathers off ebay.

3k really, is that all? Surely it's better off keeping rather than selling for that money.

Change of heart rybo?

I think so :( Randomly decided i wasn't interested in doing anything to it the other day.

Though the Toyo T1R's are amazing on it :D

Once i have sorted the house out i am dealing with at the moment, ill be more sure on what to do with it. Keep it or get something more interesting.. We'll see.

I would love to keep it but I have had it for 3 years now, I would like a change.

Only mods it's got are b12's, 24mm anti-roll bar (I think it's 24mm), miltec cat back. I just put the standard air box back on, the roll bar is coming off soon prob sell it for 40-50 quid. Will sell it with the b12's unless I can find some shocks.

It's got some dealer service history but I mainly do it with ford parts, shouldn't be a prob I don't think.

Does the rear ARB make much of a difference? I'm still currently 50/50 as to whether or not to get one.

I've had a read around and found a thread on Pistonheads which basically says they are stupid for road use and 'borderline dangerous'? Plus with my car being so low (I can't fit a trolley jack under the rear beam!) I'm worried about it hanging too low and catching something.

I feel its probably better to spend the money on full polly bushes or something?

I have a rear ARB, the 24mm one...definitely makes the rear a bit lively, slightly twitchy near the limit though...turn in seems sharper though. Bit of a ghetto fitment though, really a bit primitive, and ground clearance is very low indeed with it on. Overall an improvement but with the caveat that it makes the car more prone to oversteer. Whether that's a good thing depends on your perspective! :D

Would be interested to see the pistonheads thread though!

My car is now fully polybushed with group n front top mounts and new Arb droplinks. Drives as nicely as it has ever done, doesn't feel any harsher but feels a bit more planted at speed. Maybe going to lower it slightly further on the coilovers but then I'm finished when it comes to handling mods.
