Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Good news: Insurance renewed for £649, and I finally got my anodised blue rocker cover bolts from Jamsport so can get my bling engine cover fitted (:D). I also have collected all the parts to fit Focus ST170 front brake setup, alas I need to get the carriers tidied up a lot since they have a shedload of surface rust, including on the pad guides, which means I won't get it done this bank holiday weekend...but at least I have all the bits!

Bad news: ABS light comes on periodically since the garage replaced my rear brake setup, so its going back to the garage again tomorrow. Hoping its fixed for free!! :(

James i think the wheels look spot on. I would buy them myself to put some R888s on but im saving for something ;)

I think those wheels are great, if I was gonna swap my Braid wheels they'd be my next choice, in anthracite just like yours.

Sometimes they look good, other times I think they look naff. ST suits a wheel with less of a tyre wall and a bigger alloy I think.

Still got my O.Z. Superturismo. :p

I'm sorely tempted to get a set of ST500 alloys. They looks sick on the Mk7.

Clocked nearly 1200 since I've had the metal now and I'm really getting used to the way it handles. I always thought people were exaggerating when they said the Mk7 had much better handling than the Mk6 but I agree with them now. It's really odd and I'm not sure how intrusive the electronics are but it seems much more stable and progressive through corners. The Potenza Asymmetrics aren't too bad either.

I'm selling my O.Z. to my cousin for £200 but no idea when he's going to get them and if he was serious...

I get sad every time I look at my ST. Don't get me wrong, i love the Mk7...it's just i lusted over an ST for so long and i feel like i have unfinished business with it. :(

You ever find out the offset on those OZs Logsi?

Spent yesterday trimming my head lining, was a royal pain in the bum. First getting it out was a nightmare, then the material just wouldn't stretch so there's a few wrinkles in the corners but overall i'm pleased with the out come. Especially since it was my first ever go.

Yeah man! If I remember correctly from when I looked last year it was ET48. Standards are 52 right?

Is it weird having a black roof now? :p

It's a bit strange haha roof looks lower and I need to sort out the grab handles, etc..

Defo ET45? The fronts look like they sit out quite far!

If your cousin doesn't have them I might be interested. Let me know and i'm sure we can come to some arrangement.

Yeah, pretty sure they're 48. They do stick out a lot compared to standard but maybe not as much as those Pro Race 3's you had! :p

I'll chase him this week and see.

Those pro race 3 were mental

I'll defo take the off you if he doesn't, I've decided they look too good.

that looks pretty good, the other option is to wire a second light up in the roof lining that runs off the first one. Also what colour trim is that on your seats, they look dark grey? Never seen that.

In other news i did a How Fast Session with Mountune yesterday... Practice times:

Fastest FiestaST! even ahread of a 8000rpm 220bhp FiestaST woop woop. if i had gained like 0.150 i could have been 4th!

On my "Fast" laps i proper messed up.... :(

The spin made me timid for the 2nd lap, and i dropped down the order and behind the man to beat. Trevor Jasper was in the 220BHP Fiesta (NOT an RS). Steve Read is in a Fiesta Mr200 too, and is a good driver he was just on the wrong sort of tyres for a wet day.
