Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Its the standard grey and red half leathers, guess the flash on camera makes it look like that.

The second light if i remember right takes a fair but of work to get it to fit OEM. Only one other fiesta i know with it in iirc.

Looks much better than the horrid light grey roof anyway.

Is there a guide to removing all the A, B and C pillar trims? And the roof lining? Colour change to something a bit darker would be good!

I have done a few minor mods to my ST this weekend, including the 300mm front brakes - look pretty beasty under 16 inch wheels! Will take some pictures at the weekend when the cars had a clean!

A pillars pull off but clips do have a tendancy to snap so always worth having spares.

B and C are self explanatory once you start pulling and remove the caps/screws in them.

Headlining can be tricky but easy enough if you take you time.

If you can fit a brake upgrade you shouldnt struggle with them.

Anyone else had issues with the trip computer? Despite driving between 60-70;) my average mph is in the 30s until I reset it. However when I next go out in the car its back to being in the 30s again until I reset it. Not that big of a deal and I only notice it when I scroll through the different screens on the computer, just annoys me slightly that I know it's doing it. Unless this is normal of course, first car I've had with a trip computer.

Very true but it doesn't seem to rise or fall though until I reset it each time, just seems to stay on 34mph no matter how far or fast I've driven. Just found it weird seeing as my journey to work is about 15 miles with 90% of that on dual carriageway, and 50mph in some parts.

Cleaned my k&n yesterday and reset my mpg, seems to have gained an average of 3 on my normal commute to work, is this normal? Also, it seems to be quieter than before :(

thats because its probably a true reading. When i reset mine for my trips to wales, the average speed Romford to Telford (M25-M1-M6-M54) will be around 59-65 generally, after that it gradually falls to the mid 40s while in wales. Once i get home it will be back at around 30 within a week because the roads are so clogged around here.

I did that to my old focus, replaced the trims with the ST black ones!

Just buy the recharger kit from K&N it's cheap and has everything you need. Wash and reoil basically. Take your throttle body off too, will definitely need cleaning.

DEFINITELY do that. I did one a few days ago. Spent ages cleaning it under the tap until I thought it was pretty clean. Sprayed on the cleaning solution and mud was literally flowing off it. After oiling it looked like brand spanking new.

What's the best way to clean a k&n? I have had mine in for a few years and not cleaned it yet.

As above, get a recharger kit. 15 quid from Halfords (listed at 19 but scanned as 15 at the till :p). You need the proper oil that you get in the kit as this is what catches the finer dust particles.

Ordered my k&n 57i today from ebay. What would people recommend as my next mod? I've already got lowered suspension, and tinted windows. I've heard a flexi pipe is a popular choice although having looked on Ebay, it seems you can get a 57i & flexi pipe bundle. Ah well.

Anyone here going to FITP? Decided not to go as I felt it just a bit too far to travel for the one day.
