Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

I bought it from Demon Tweeks. Just be careful because you don't seem to get a downsizing pipe...thing...from most retailers and the Milltek pipe is larger in diameter than the standard cat so you'll have to get something fabricated on to make it fit properly like I did, thankfully the garage made me one up free of charge :)

Ok thanks for the heads up.

Wish i had cleaned it, but then with so many spin offs it would have still been dirty lol.

Well needed two new rear tyres as mine were getting to the limit.

Had a look around and decided on some Yoko S Drives as they had some good reviews....

Just so happens that I bought 4 tyres instead of two and that they come with 4 new alloys too  :p

Will be sold, don't need two sets and the other half would kill me if I had more car stuff lying around :(

Do not buy S Drives if you haven't already, i took my set off after a few hundred they were that dangerous in wet.

I couldnt accelerate in the wet at all and going round corners i used to get beeped on roundabout for going so slow! By a mile the worst tyre i have every owned. However in the dry one of the best

I think every tyre is horrible in the wet, hopefully they are better than my Toyo's which I personally don't rate very highly!

Was going to get CS3s as they are meant to be the tyre of the moment but thought the price on the Yoko's was better (even though they are probably not on par with CS3s so would be cheaper anyway)

Well, I'm definitely thinking of getting an ST150 now.

What kind of money should I look at spending if I want a reasonably nice ST? Will £4k be enough?

Also, what should I be looking for regarding faults / common problems if and when I go to test drive one of these things?

Last but not least, (almost a silly question) are there any better cars I should be considering?...

I paid £6850 for mine. 2008 plate, 24500 miles, 1 previous owner. Close to the maximum I'd recommended spending on one.

Things I'd check are power steering pump and fluid, the handle to push the seat forward to allow passengers in works on both driver and passenger side.
