Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Thats so low, whats the ride like?! :D

Liking the look, its none too subtle though, sure it won't attract the wrong sort of attention (in the same way the green wheels did)?

Better than standard, handles speed bumps and other stuff quite well. Ride is slightly softer than standard at the moment with the shocks set to medium/soft

Hopefully not but what can you do? I'm not going to let some little sod dictate what I do to my car. I liked the green but it was a bit odd looking on a red car. The white is much more at home and compliments the side stripes :)

I've had silver, dark grey, matt black, satin black, gloss black, green and anthracite coloured wheels now.. plus white.

Got to be a new record surely?

I thought I was bad going through two sets of suspension (three if standard counts...I had standard, then Bilstein B12s, then H&Rs) :D

In truth if I ahd the money I might try another set of suspension, the H&Rs are only height adjustable and a bit firm for road use...been in a mates civic which is on Meister Rs, and absolutely slammed to the floor, and its like a magic carpet ride compared to my car!

I'm tempted to get some faded 'mountune' side stripes for my car, either in black or dark grey to match the wheels, really looking the look of that style of stripe on your car and on Readies, think yellow would look out of place on my car mind...

Ummm..

I've had Spax srings, Eibach sprigns, Gaz Coilovers, B12 kit, AP Coilovers and now BC Coilovers :(

Yeah the BCs/Meister are all the same pretty much but with different names and different paint schemes as far as I can tell.

Yeah love the faded stripe, is there no yellow on your car at all? I think it would work quite well.

I was worried about mine fading to white and not transparent but oddly enough it suits it.

Slightly better picture

I like the wheels but think the red accents around the lights now need to be white to tie everything up.

BTW....DAT POKE. :D

there is no chance on this earth i'm splitting head lights ever again haha

it is one of the most awkward mods i've ever done.

fronts need about 3-5mm worth of spacing out and i'd be happy.

I think every tyre is horrible in the wet, hopefully they are better than my Toyo's which I personally don't rate very highly!

You'll have them off quicker than on if you didnt rate toyo's in the wet.

I had toyos before or after the S drives i can't remember and there just a totally different level in the wet.

The S drives i was scared to pull out on anything in the wet, i ussually had to waiting untill a massive gap or someone let me out and roundabouts, like i say i got beeped a few times for going so slow but if i went faster i went straight!

A horrific tyre in the went i took them off with an easy 6mm left and gave them the garage as they wernt worthy of being even spares.

So far the S Drives have been spot on in the wet, both heavy and greasy. I'm finding more grip in places where the Toyos would have either wheel spun or had me going on in a straight line rather than round the corner.

I'll keep an eye on them and see how I get on.

I will say i'm loving the stiffer side walls, the Toyo's are just way too soft for me.

The car stands out so much now compared to before it's rather odd. Just parking up at the shops and when it comes to walking back to the car, you just can't miss it!

Does anyone know of a easy/cheap way of getting adjustable camber settings on the FiestaST? Top mounts or Bottom wishbone? Id want it to be easy, so i can run like 2.5-3 degrees on track and go back to standard for road driving.

yeah think so, i've never used them.

PM Kaxe on STOC as he had them I think.

Depends what suspension you have too as I know mine wouldn't fit them so i've got even less choice ha.

Hmmm it might of been the lad who had the supercharged red ST in fast ford with the pro race 3 alloys then.

It was one or the other ha

Just upgraded the brakes on mine to 300mm fronts using ST170 discs and Mondeo calipers, also up to 280mm on the rear using ST170 discs and pad carriers, thought I'd fit stainless braided lines at the same time, great cost effective mod.

Yeah i'm sorting that out at the moment. Already have the ST170 rears, just ordered a pair of ST170 fronts and i'm sorted. Tempted to try RC5+ pads and brembo disks, the pads seem to be getting very good reviews at the moment.

dbmzk1 - lower it!

See how they go after a few thousand, the side walls on them are perfectly flat which i liked about them too. Hope they stay sticky in the wet for you.

In the dry don't get me wrong i loved everyminute of them, but wet they were a death trap for me, even the garage that took them off said it wasn't the first newish set the have had to take off.

Totally loving my ST so far, only had it about 3 weeks!

Think it needs lowering...

looks like a nice well looked after ST. Whats the overall plan with her? Lowering is a good start, i waited 3 years before i lowered mine, bad move, its so much better once lowered.
