ahh sorry - I thought you'd taken delivery of a few old systems worth of parts the other week :confused:

anyway have changed it to single core now :)

ahhh the X2 power is certainly nice, mine's at 2.4 currently and seems quite happy with that so far - I'll probably try for more over the weekend but it's not really an overclocking board (Asrock Dual SATA) so it's probably near the limit

I'll just have to see what I can squeeze out of my other rigs :o

damn small linux or something similar - mister KE1HA is the specialist when it comes to this and you're in luck as the doctor is in the house :D

it may be in the sticky - if not it was definately in the old sticky which is safely stored away in the TOSAH archives :)

Nope - they are proper dual-core rather than the single core with a load of slack that we'll call HT and pretend like we meant to do it :p

However they will run 2 instances and get 1000+ PPD for each instance with some basic overclocking and some decent WUs
/me tips hat to Intel for finally making something worth buying

The up and coming Kentsfield chips on the otherhand are a different matter - two Conroe's on the same chip - twice the fun and 4 times the crunchage :cool:
