that good or bad for the zotac amp extreme?
About the same as my FE when overclocked.

Are there any benchmarks running 4k with:
- AA disabled
- 16x AF disabled
Can only find this one - http://www.mmorpg.com/hardware-reviews/hardware-review-zotac-gtx-1080ti-amp-edition-1000011702
- SSAO disabled
Which tells me that a 1080Ti running 4k without AA easily handles 4k @ 60fps?
Yeah it pretty much does on 90% of games. I've tested The Division, Forza 3, BF2, all run at 4k 60 no problemo. A question arises here, if gaming at 4k, do you really need AA MSAA SSAO etc??
yes you need AA at 4K 2AA is not enough generally 4X is good enough. depending on the game and my experienceYeah it pretty much does on 90% of games. I've tested The Division, Forza 3, BF2, all run at 4k 60 no problemo. A question arises here, if gaming at 4k, do you really need AA MSAA SSAO etc??
Yer, but over £100?? Come on, just not worth it.Been there, done that... seen what happens with the after sales support when things go wrong.
Came back to OCers!
Ended up out of pocket by over £150 (was a motherboard)Yer, but over £100?? Come on, just not worth it.
even though OCUK support is amazing you should never be out of pocket due to RMAEnded up out of pocket by over £150 (was a motherboard)
Doesn't it cost to send an item back?even though OCUK support is amazing you should never be out of pocket due to RMA
not if a fault is found ocuk refund up to £12 of the shipping fee from memory. if a fault is not found then yes... you would beDoesn't it cost to send an item back?
I think Ludovic is embellishing the truth somewhat...even though OCUK support is amazing you should never be out of pocket due to RMA

Nah... they refused to honor my motherboard RMA which would power off instantly when switched on, because they 'said' I'd damaged some tracks (I'm guessing when installing or removing my video card)
They even sent some pics taken with I presume a microscope, saying because the scratch went across 5 tracks, they wouldn't accept it, and shipped it back...
When I pointed out the scratch was only to the varnish layer, they didn't care...
It's a long story... but they didn't even bother to test the MB, just returned it (had they done so... they could have said - "you're an idiot, the MB is 100% fine!" (turns out I followed the cases standoff guide and the guide had a standoff where I shouldn't, which caused a short to earth and in turn caused it to turn off... I removed it and the MB was just fine!)
But by then I had bought a second MB (thus the £150 loss)
So no I try and avoid said company, and stick with companies (like OC, etc.), that I hope I can trust not to try and weasel out of an RMA, on the basis of a picture alone and not even try to see if a MB is 'actually' faulty.
I think Ludovic is embellishing the truth somewhat...
Sorry dude but that sounds like user damage to me. It happens

depends on the game after using 1080p/1440p/1440p ultra/4KProbably not. I play a good few games at 1080p/1440p with little or no AA, so at 4k it should be even better. Really depends on if you can actually notice any jaggies, but I'd say AA in not needed at 4k.

they all need AA is certain games
Witcher needs AA but only FXAA
Overwatch needs AA but only SMAA x2
some games like indies platforms you wont notice but realistic games/city scapes generally you do
