Just done a fresh install, firstly updated to 1.32 no issues. Then a secure erase, and then Windows 7 SP1, all done in less than 20mins!
Bunyan I seen you mentioned your board doesn't have AHCI (same as mine) so I thought we wouldn't be able to do a secure erase or firmware update whilst running under IDE mode or am I mistaken?

 When i updated from 1.23 to 1.28 a while back it kept all my data no problem.

Apparently the fix is to remove the power from the SSD and then reconnect again whilst the machine is still running. Sounds a little dodgy mind so hope I don't have that problem
