Not sure if that's a Pb for LiE. But yeah, he seems to have been on fire. For a first comp, that's absolutely epic.

Pretty sure they took 1/2/3 though.

There's also apparently a natural guy weighing 89 who's openers are 330 squat and 240 bench

Opening with 240 unequipped would make him one of the best benchers in the world?!
 
FF must mean deadlift, as the gbpf record for 93kg is well below 200 for bench lol

Saying that, no idea what fed this comp is?
 
I have to say I've been to numerous bodybuilding shows, and this trumped them in every way. No arrogance, no arrogant postulating, no feather spreading. Everyone was supporting one another, cheering and everyone was chipping in to help.

Also, to me, it's FAR more impressive - strength/power of some of these people were just intoxicating to watch. Don't get me wrong, the prep work that goes into BB to get into condition is no easy feat, as well as the determination and diet necessary to build those muscle (I'm talking in the natural world). However, I'm afraid to me it has NOTHING on this sort of performance.

I agree fully, but like you I have to respect everything that they do before hand to get to where they are.
That's the difference in the 2 sports though, both have an end goal - to perform as best as possible on the comp day - however the actual comp is a different beast.
1 is looking your best, you look "great" but you aren't showing off how you got there. The other is exactly how you go there, even more so with PB lifts on the day :)
 
Can anyone recommend a good Chest / tris session for tonight?

I usually do something like..

BB Bench,
DB Flys
Cable Crossovers
Close grip chest press (on machine)
Dips
Tricep Kickbacks.

I fancy mixing it up a touch. Maybe Incline DB press somewhere?

Im interested in what kind of routines some of you more aesthetically pleasing folk use.

Dips 5x5, go as heavy as you need
incline db bench 5x3 - HEAVY
skull crushers - 3x10
 
I think he may be. He wears a bench shirt so its probably likely.

Impressive lifts for a light guy though.

Yeah, was thinking it was quite tight around the thighs to be a singlet :D

It's stupidly impressive for his bodyweight, can't argue with that :D
