Done, I had it at 90% so I cranked it up.
GPU usage is now at 80%+
CPU usage? Seems you are bottlenecked there.

OK, I just checked both BF1 and BFV and both hover around 60%-70% cpu usage while fighting in game.
I was wondering if I had a bottleneck issue but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Well it's official
It's the exact same length of the Nitro Fury so no worries there if you still have one.
Also, I just noticed that they put 150W on my old Fury card heatsink and the heatpipes are copper. Not sure if that matters now with the 5700 Nitro+. The 5700 Nitro+ is a bit taller then the Fury Nitro though.
Another thing is that the plugs are inverted. I had to twist my 8 pin cables upside down in order for me to insert it. Not sure why they did that. But the quality is still there though.
Sorry for blurry port pic.
I’m about to fall off the fence and order.
Just need conformation on length, capillary someone be ever so kind and measure a reference xt please?
I know it’s on the spec but so was the 290 which listed 275mm my measurement 278mm. 284.8 is Close to touching the front rad, anymore and I’ll have to modify the rad
Thank you.Reference XT in inches: 10 1/2" or 267mm (PCB)
Thank you.
See ocuk has it at 284.8mm.
My 290 has a 10mm cooler overhang, can’t tell how much overhang if any looking at the Exploded pic of the 5700.
My Nitro+ arrived on sunday, was a big step up from the venerable pitcairn toting 7870 300% uplift minimum.
Hitting a nice stable 2GHz out of the box at lower than 70c.
Anybody recommend what I set fan curve and memory at with the reference card? Have it currently undervolt to 800Mhz, 750mV and 2004 mHz, 1122 mV as auto has suggested.
All new to PC first build
That's not the issue. I get over 2000Mhz and over 100 FPS in DX12 (over 96% GPU Usage). BFV DX12 is not that smooth though (common complaint regardless of HW).BF5 especially is quad core killer. Thats known a year now. It doesn't have to go to 100% to see that you have bottleneck, that the GPU doesn't work at 98%-99% is a strong indication.
Google search and you will see what I am talking about
That’s available in the Alphacool site better get one before the 31st
If you do the bios switch is a small black tab that is actually underneath the PCB of the video card. It took me a minute because the rear heatshield was labled Bios Switch and I wasn't finding it (as the back part of the card is facing me). That’s available in the Alphacool site better get one before the 31st
I might be ditching then ae and getting a nitro
Yep
2080ti only 38% more performance over 5700xt
