Basically the same in terms of the idea of what both try to achieve.

The method of the both is different though and it's why FSR 2.0 won't be able to make it driver side due to how it must hook into thr games rendering path.

FSR 1.0 is a simple method that can be done after the rendering path downside is full screen is changed and it doesn't get rid of the TAA artifacts like blurring etc

Not sure whether it's been mentioned yet but God of War now has FSR 2.0 implemented in its latest patch. Will be useful for maintaining a solid 60fps at 4K with my 6800 XT.

Have you updated the DLL to the latest version ? Makes quite a difference.

Well I thought DX11 wouldn't support FSR 2.0 God of War has answered that question. are they any games that DLSS supports that are running DX11? I thought all was DX12 or Vulkan.

I have but didn't fix the issue I'm having which is crazy amounts of aliasing and shimmering on any dlss setting

Hopefully if FSR2 gets added it will help

DLSS should be showing less shimmer and aliasing compared to native in cp2077. Gamers nexus etc. all noted this along with better temporal stability and that was with older versions too. Make sure you have CA, motion blur etc. effects turned off. If you aren't impressed with dlss in it then chances are you defo won't be with fsr 2 either.



Seems FSR 2 has some bad ghosting in FS, almost dlss v1.0/2.0 levels of bad:
