Plus that 2yr warranty is *very* generous, almost overly so...I wouldn't pay attention to that tbh unless you plan on using liquid nitrogen and extreme overclocking.
The only weak point tbf, but the cooler quality/temps/noise is better than every other 4090 I've tried. (SuprimX and Trio).Plus that 2yr warranty is *very* generous, almost overly so...
Gratz double check your fans/motor/bearings. run something 3D and check you are not getting that motor buzzing noise? Maybe it could be in with a new batch.Zotac 4090 RTX AMP Extreme AIRO up and running, fans and pretty quiet and no coil whine. Cables will be tidied up sometime this month when cablemod shows up. Size is a shock when you first see it installed in person . Tried to keep the connector as straight as possible so I put a cable tie on it and bent the rest of the cable as far away from the connector as possible while still allowing the door to close with it barley nudging the cable, so it should be fine hopefully.
****ers spent on the cooler but not the pcb thenThe only weak point tbf, but the cooler quality/temps/noise is better than every other 4090 I've tried. (SuprimX and Trio).
loads of people do though with their case on the desk right next to the monitor... full or RGB lighting too... how can that not be distracting whilst gamingAnd no, obviously I don’t play games with the GPU next to my ear (what an idiotic comment).
You just jelly cos the TUF runs a good bit warmer than the hip, hop and happening GameRock.****ers spent on the cooler but not the pcb then
At least pcb will last more than 2yrsEdit - Oof according to Kitguru the TUF thermal pads do not even fully cover the memory modules, lol.
Oh it is, and blinding when I’ve got my ear pressed up against the GPU.loads of people do though with their case on the desk right next to the monitor... full or RGB lighting too... how can that not be distracting whilst gaming
No idea whats going on but may have a similar problem myself now. Installed my 4090FE last night, all ran fine, on idle the clocks drop. Loaded up MSI and still all working fine. Ran the MSI OC app and now my card is stuck at 2540 on idle. Revert changed nothing.
So I have locked my card to run at 100% (again!)

I've got the same case and ordered a 4090. It will fit but unsure of side panel clearance to allow safe bending of power cable. I'm sure someone will be able to confirmI have a Corsair 5000d and was wondering if there's enough room to get the side panel on? Most of these pictures have the side panel off. I'm giving serious consideration to buying one of the 40 series cards but I'm concerned about fit
Im looking at the cablemod adapter but don't want to wait much longer. By my best guess theses 3cm from the connector to the glass. Seems a bit tightI've got the same case and ordered a 4090. Weird question, speaking of the box, what are it's dimensions? I have this crazy idea to make a case the same size and skin it with the outer part of the box.Wow it's a beast Great unboxing experience too.
