It's a much better deal to buy a 1080.
In fairness that might be because they're cards don't use 300W...Chill
Vega needs to be £450 to a be a success. AMD has Vega strategy all wrong.

In Radeon Settings - select custom - increase power limit to +50%, increase fan RPM to anything over 2700RPM, increase HBM clock to 1050Mhz. You'll be able to push it a bit further than that but that will give you very close to peak performance and be completely stable.Just pulled the trigger on the last remaining Gigabyte Vega 64 liquid. Tried to resist but couldn't
Are they reasonably plug and play? I'm looking forward to tweaking, but I'm going to be time poor in December.
Ginga
Not if you already own a Freesync monitor it isn't

AMD state that they are supporting Ryzen on this platform until 2020. From there you might want to consider the motherboard entry cost, feature set (DDR4 speed support) and the OEM's reputation for BIOS updates. Either of those CPU's will pull well past a 4690 on anything MT and probably just in general.Do you guys think its worth getting ryzen 1700x or 1600x maybe to replace my 4690k? Not much point to use vega if my cpu will bottleneck it and wonder if ryzen is futureproof.
@AMDMatt sorry I have just received my vega 64 and there is a red light above the power connectors next with the numbers d4002? This mean anything?
Computer keeps crashing trying to install latest drivers. Tried everything.
I'm sure I saw some screenshots somewhere of an FPS counter and other in-game displayed monitoring data like we see in Afterburner. Hmm where was that?...You are such a tease !
This is your chance to change the OC tool to Wattmatt, don't miss the opportunity
What new features ............ I wanna knowwwwwwwwwwwwwww
What power supply?
Reseat Card
Connect two separate 8 pins from PSU to GPU
DDU to completely wipe out any existing drivres
New windows installation (download fully up to date version from Mircrosoft to save time updating)
Custom drivers install > clean install
Try in another system with a 700W+ GPU, if still not working, RMA
750w bitfenix whisper!
Thanks running through the list now.
Does anyone else have a red light above where the power connectors are?
