Wohoo, another great week for the team's output. Once upon a time we were amazed to get of 75k a day, now it looks like 100k is a minimum.

Not sure it's that safe to be issuing a parp to Russia though. I know the cold war is supposed to be over, but with their apparent willingness to cut off fuel pipelines, they could try and plunge us into the dark so we couldn't crunch at all

Should be stomping casale today, if I haven't already. Does anyone know when the SMP client BETA ends? It was supposed to last a month and I am pretty sure it had been running a while before I started a fortnight ago or more.

Once we go final (i.e. out of a public beta), we will remove the expiration date from the client. The expiration dates are useful to make sure donors upgrade clients, as older beta SMP or GPU clients often have bugs which need to be upgraded.

So as long as the client is working ok there should be SMP work available

Gah, I am not at home much at the moment so I am worried about my PC sitting idle all day if or when the client decides it is out of date.

I think the current client was valid for two months rather than one so it shouldn't expire for a while yet

edit: also the client only checks the date when it is started - so if it's already running it will be fine, only if it's restarted for any reason will there be a problem
another way around it is to set the system clock back a month

That most likely wont last, once my ouput settles Sculptor will probably be back in front.

A nice bit of team stompage. That's what we like.

I've had a bit of a disaster loosing some SMP WUs (nearly 2000pts of them !), so my outputs a bit down right now. As soon as it gets back into the swing of things, it'll be fine - deej watch out. Gonna try and get a E6300 folding for me too.

nice one team, finally ive gone past the first 10k mark

Another one down and yet more team stomps on the way great work Team

8K exactly! major improvement on last week but still got lots of slack that need attention.

Been a few changes here and at home, the farm is down a few machines as we've lost a few staff and we've some big jobs in the office so I've stop folding on a few others.

The server is now crunching two threads full time, with an additional one overnight and weekends. But due to all the 21** it keeps getting it's not really boosting the output that much (~250ppd )

The ram upgrade is now in the pipeline, so that means the non HT pc can crunch >5MB WU's (and my fellow staff will stop complaining that their machines are slow when running 3 or more intensive programes - that's the one's that arn't folding )

As for home - broadband is on the way (due in 4 weeks) so no more ipod transfers (which actually is working quite well)

All the 'bits' for my new rig have arrived (well passive GPU is on route but my x850 will do for now) But build is not going well. Was going for an all Sata setup but need some help with that , might have rig folding over weekend but sleep is more important currently.
All due to a small bundle of joy not understanding that night = sleep.
when Dad's home = play is so much more fun (not that I can blame him)

I'll try and pull off my slacker socks and get back into the 10k + bracket but might take a short while.

It looks like it's going to be quite a long-lasting battle

Before a don gives you a yellow sig about reading the faq, I'd read it. That would tell you to remove the animated sig
