A great big warm welcome to the team! :)
If you haven't done so already then why not check out the Folding@Home Setup Guide and the Quickie Guide for more foldy-tastic tips especially for when you're in a rush

Two team stomps in the same week - break out the celebratory pies!!! :D
Also we've gone Bright Red for the first week ever  kinda run out of colours now as we've been following the EOC scheme up till now - any preference on the next colour to go for?
Sorry anyone who's not been mentioned - you know what to do now

***Only got one machine crunching? - Have a looky here***

Had a workunit going earlier was 85% complete, there no way it could have been completed had like 8 hours ETA, but now FAHmon is saying 2%. Either the work unit did actually finish or its screwed up!

Im SOOOOOOOOO ANGRY took a whole flippin week to get a single bloody WU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH

Is it actually gone or how do I check if it completed?

You could look in your FAH log file... FAHlog.txt in the FAH installation folder. It should show whether the WU failed or was uploaded to Stanford.

Cheers for the Team News, rich :) Does 320,000 not get me a tiffykat, maybe it's 325,000 ??

Kinnison.

Wohoo, the team done good this week

Even better I seem to have been more successful and got a few points, and a tiffycat :) Only trouble is all these new crunchers with big potent machines mean I'm slipping down the list. :( The remedy should arrive tommorrow if the bright yellow and green van does it's thing. Then well see how an E6600 with an X1950XT-X performs. :D

I hate you! But it's a sweet setup ye shall have there. By the way, I still hate you! :p

Oh rich, you might consider a new set of stats - The GPU crunchers league :D

Not sure how you would go about doing it... perhaps only include those who fold soley on their X1900XT. Might be unfair having everyone who folds with a GPU as some of us don't have an E6600 at our disposal!

Ruffly the same as my X1900XT-X :p

Hmm, i wonder if my kentsfield core + C2D + X1900XTX comes under one machine...

The points system really should be sorted, as my X2D is 150% the power of my X2 and yet it gets 80% the points... Its silly.

It should be done per flop TBH.

The thought did cross my mind but with no way to seperate the GPU work from the normal work I don't think it will happen - however I could use another colour in the single crunchers league to identify those who have a single machine and are using the GPU client

As for the 6600 and X1950 that's the setup that Conc has - just don't add him to MSN and you'll stay sane :p
edit: I thought yours was the 1950 Conc

You could give everyone a different colour! Be a good way of knowing why someone has massive output all of a sudden and it be great to see how many of us are crunching away with a GPU.

Hell no, X1950 is a waste of time, X1900XTX with 800mhz mem speed = X1950XTX.

Plus I have a better cooler! :D

That is my whole fah log in my fah folder. What would have caused me to lose my work? Its happened before aswell!

All i could think is few hours ago my pc wouldnt load up, got to windows loading screen, blue screen error = unmounatble boot volume.

I just basically went to win xp recvoering console and fixed boot & mbr and done chkdsk. It worked after that but would that make me lose my work?

Where do i check my stats to see if its loaded up? Still havent completed a wu yet in my 2 weeks at team 10!
