Really awkward size to find a decent fan tbh, the noctua is doing a good job as temps didn't get above 65c last night so enough air is being sucked out. Just the wrong colour although it does look worse on a photo than in person.

I asked EVGA if the pump was PWM on their Facebook reveal and got a load of crap from people telling me if I could hear a pump that mine must be crap or broken or I'm watercooling wrong haha.

But in seriousness, that's why I avoid these hybrids. They run the pump at 100% all the time and it's too noisy for me!

Can't say it's something that interests me to be honest, if I was going to watercool a GPU it would have to be a full loop or something like the ek predator kits.

I know what you mean. I have a enermax AIO for my cpu and the pump is dreadful to listen to. But i solved that with a one of those volt reduction cables you put on fans to reduce the RPM. Works like a charm and has for about a year now. Now i cannot hear the pump.

I have an original Corsair H50 from 2007/2008 that I still use on my test rig, they use a Molex connector for power, combined with two OCUK golf ball fans it's "quite loud" XD

Been playing on my new beast for the last couple of nights and all I can say is that I am amazed by the performance, it's unreal. Anyone that's thinking about it and can afford it then don't hesitate, you won't regret it.
Just need to get a higher refresh g sync monitor now and I'm golden.

I feel the exact same way. Im currently stuck with my freesync monitor so no variable refresh rate for me but the 1080ti still has so much raw power in it that gaming has been fun and tearing very little. In most games i can just lock it to 99fps and vsync my 100hz monitor and everything is golden. Shouldnt have bought this thing earlier and save me the trouble. Also for the first time since i bought the 980ti way back, and later the 1070, i have not had any driver issues. I used to be plagued by drivers issues but not anymore.. it's like they got their act together somehow.

I agree regarding performance, the 1080ti is awesome at 3440*1440. I'm not particularly seeing games raise the bar in terms of GPU requirements, so if it wasn't for my tech addiction I'd probably skip the next gen.

The 980ti was an awesome card for its time, but there was always that dip below 60 with some titles, but I've yet to experience that with the 1080ti.

I'm only playing at 2560*1440/60 at the minute, plan on going UW shortly. Like you say I can't see me needing to upgrade for a long time, next card will be Volta TI I think.

I'm using evga precision, as apparantly afterburner only recognises one of the three fans. No big deal, however, I like being able to view my (system) RAM usage in OSD. It appears precision doesnt let you do that?

3440x1440 120hz will even be fine for it. My Ti is running great in most games with ultra/high settings.

Had them a couple of weeks, pics in spoiler tag, can I get an add to the roll:

A custom loop would obviously be better but I'm too lazy and these are much quieter than any air cooled cards I've had previously in sli. Top out at 52 degrees load and barely audible above case fans.

Cards can do 2038/6156 for benching but keep them at 2000/6000 gaming.

Cant imagine the ftw3 hybrids being significantly better so glad I didn't wait.
