Pretty much up and running now. Barring any mishaps along the way, I should have a full weeks running on all 20 cores next week (although if I get the faster RAM for the E6300, there may be a short hiatus whilst I overclock the living daylights out of it :D ).

With the current mediocre WUs we're getting at the moment, I'll be looking at close to 30,000 per week. If things pick up - who knows what's possible.

As always, a big thank you to Rich for the news (you may still be above me next week - but then again, you may not :p ) and a big foldy welcome to the new peeps :)

Getting a few 364 pointers again now so may be able to hold KE1HA at bay for another week. :eek:

Bigstan has upped his uber production again and should stomp all over me well before christmas. Can't think of anyone I would rather be STOMPED by. :p

Excellent news rich.

A good week for me, possibly my best yet but I am too lazy to check lol.

The GPU client is giving me a good 600PPD all by itself. Then there is my spare 4400+ core on the same machine. I have also got 3 other clients on borged machines, with at least 2 being recently active.

My output is set to increase as a: I plan on building a file server and b: I plan on an upgrade of my main machine to a C2D. I MAY choose to use the X2 4400+ and the RAM from my current rig in the file server, so my output could drastically increase in about a months time!

Still, it is all just in the planning stage at the moment :D

Anyhoo, thanks again for the news and a nice warm welcome to the new recruits! Don't worry about your accomodation - you get fresh straw when you reach page 1 :p

Hopefully in a months time I'll be biting at a few heels on page one of the EOC stats. :)
Shame the GPU client doesn't work with Vista (what a waste of a 1950 :( ).
Lets see what next week brings. Oh and well done to everybody who has contributed this week.

Still I should be leaving the ranks of the single machine crunchers anytime soon, to give some of you bigger league bods a bit more of a run for your money. The plans for assimilation are afoot, toghether with getting this nice shiny E6600 up and running ....

Well there was a 1/4 of a Kentsfield a couple of weeks ago which he got donated to him for helping someone out with getting their GPU folding - I'm not sure if that's still there or not, otherwise it could be a MAC client or something

Either way since chicogb is showing only 2 active cores I thought he deserved to be top of the pops seeing as he's only a tad bit behind Conc anyway :)

This is my unhappy face -> :mad:

...it is the face I have when I've spent £200 on an X1900XT only to find that the Molex->PCI-E power converter I had hidden in a box from when I got my PSU won't power it :o

...however after a quick order on t'internet for a proper 2 molex -> 1 PCI-E adapter (with 4 wires rather than just the two this old one has) and a couple more days waiting things just may work out

Then I may once again have this face -> :D

...until my next trip to the bank machine :eek: :p


edit: My PSU is a Hiper-4S525 with 20A and 17A on the two 12V lines, if that's not going to work someone tell me now pleeeeease :P

Today we both got parcels delivered to work, mine cost £200 and will depreciate down to nothing in a few years time - hers cost £12 inc shipping and is likely worth £140-£150 and will only appreciate with time :p

Boys and their toys eh? :D

My Dual-DC Opteron PSU blew up today. Thankfully, being nice and expensive, it took itself out only (nothing else :)) with a quiet pop. So now I have a nice new Antec 550W to replace my 4-year-old Tagan 480W.

That explains why I'm down.... :p
 
thanks for the news rich - Still in the top 10 :D getting quite comfortable here might just limit my slacking and up production a bit and demote Bam0 and Babyface, oh the look on their faces when they read the news :eek:

Welcome new cruncher one and all - good to have you with us. (we are the best afterall - so why are we a number 44 you ask, ummmm because if we were at number one we'd have no teams to stomp :D )
